The name Mondstadt means "the city of freedom," and this is true—a wind gust can truly make you feel free by carrying away all of your anxieties, much like a wind can carry dandelions away. People all over Mondstadt are busy with their merchandise as a new event will happen soon, except for the little redhead in Dawn Winery.

"Now, Diluc, I have a meeting this afternoon, so I won't be able to tend to your needs for a while, okay?" Crepus said to his little one as he put Diluc down and signalled the maids to take care of him. "Play with Kaeya for a while, alright?" Crepus said as he ruffled the little one's hair, just as he did with Kaeya.

Diluc pulled Kaeya with him and started running towards Crepus' office. "Wait, Diluc, we shouldn't go there!" Kaeya whispered, and the redhead just chuckled mischievously. "Let's just go somewhere we can play." Diluc pouted at Kaeya's suggestion and stopped holding his hand.

"Fine, you can go there; I have a plan to accomplish," Diluc said as he started walking towards their huge door. Kaeya started walking behind him, confused as to why Diluc's walking like a grumpy old man. "Let's play outside; we can run along the vineyard."

Kaeya fidgets with his hand and nods, going with Diluc as they start running towards the vineyard. The maid that is assigned to them does not know that the two little ones are already outside.

While Crepus is having a meeting, the little ones are running along the vineyard, chasing each other around. Both of them are giggling as they chase and chase each other, their long hair flying along the wind, but they both stopped running.

Diluc pointed at the forest and smiled at Kaeya. "Let's have a race!" Kaeya immediately shook his head, to which Diluc sighed. "Come on, we'll be safe; I'll protect you." Kaeya still said no and started walking inside, which Diluc shrugged at.

Drawn in by a blue Seelie, the redhead started walking toward the forest. As he followed the Seelie, he got way deeper into the forest, only stopping once he saw that the Seelie flew up the hill. He looked around and realized that trees are all over him; the path is also not noticeable anymore; the only thing he knew at this moment was that... He's lost.

It was almost impossible for him to follow his own path back because, once more, he was so enthralled with the Seelie that he lost all memory of the path. He just stood there, trying to act brave and all, until he heard something from the bushes.

Being a curious kid, he started walking towards it, seeing a small crimson fox whimpering. He held it in his hand but realized that it was already dead, as it didn't breathe anymore. He stood up and just stood there again, not knowing what to do, when he heard a loud thump on the ground.

Charging soon was heard and before he could even see what was behind him, an ice shard flew across him, something breaking. He looked behind him and saw a huge hilichurl. He forgot what it was called, but before he could think, a bunch of ice started shooting on top of the large hilichurl.

In a couple of seconds, the large hilichurl died and started disintegrating after somebody dropped down from a tree, leaving a blue mist surrounding them. Through all the shock and emotion that the redhead felt, he fell down on his bum and started crying. Being a lost little kid in a forest and almost dying by a large hilichurl you don't even know existed must be too much.

"Hey, don't cry now; I killed the monster." The person bends down in front of Diluc and reaches out their hand. The little one, still wiping his tears, took the person's hands and tried to blink the tears away. "Come on, you must be a Ragnvindr. I'll walk you home."

Diluc looked at the person with his teary eyes and saw a weapon behind them; it looked like a bow, but since his eyes are blurry, he can't really see well.

Before Diluc could blink the tears away and see the person clearly, someone shouted his name. "DILUC!" He looked towards the voice and saw the silhouette of his father. "Oh my, are you okay?" Crepus asked as he hugged Diluc tightly in his arms.

"I'm okay; this person saved me," Diluc said as he pointed behind him, Crepus raising his brows.

"I don't see anyone, son. You must be tired; come on, let's go," Crepus said as he picked up Diluc, running out of the forest to avoid any more danger. "Don't run off like that again, okay? Good thing Kaeya disturbed my meeting to look for you; something bad could've happened!" Crepus scolded the little one.

Diluc, ignoring the scolding he's getting, looked towards where they were before, trying to see any sort of sign that the person who helped him left, but nothing. Even the residue of the fight is nowhere; the only thing that is not erased is his memory of this encounter.

And the infatuation he got for this person.

The sun started shining through the windows of each houses in Mondstadt, which includes the windows of Master Diluc's room. While it is probably pleasant to be awakened by daylight, Diluc was more awakened by his curiosity about the identity of the person who had saved him in his youth!

He slowly got up and rubbed the sleepiness in his eyes, groaning at seeing the hour that was plastered on the clock. He started dressing up and getting ready for his walk to work. Walking out of his room, Adelinde was in front of the door, ready to knock. "Oh, Master Diluc, I was going to knock at the door."

"The traveler and the acting grandmaster are currently downstairs, waiting to discuss something with you." Diluc nodded as he started walking towards the entrance of the mansion, noticing the traveler and Jean talking to each other.

"What's the matter?" Diluc started, and two people looked at him, Paimon waving. "Is there something going on?" Jean nodded and started talking.

"I just got a report from the people of Springvale that there has been somebody stealing goods from them, and it has been ruining their business sales," Jean said as she handed reports for Diluc to read. "The stealing stopped for a week and it started again just yesterday. A merchant apparently lost a bag of apples on the way to Springvale, and when he retraced his steps, the apples were gone but the bag was still there. I was hoping if you'd seen anything last night," Jean asked, Diluc's brows raised.

"Actually, last night I saw a bitten apple behind a bush. I think the person who stole it ran away before I could catch them," Diluc said as he recalled the weird scenario last night. "I wasn't able to see who it was, as I didn't see anyone that time," he said as he gave Jean the papers back.

"Traveler and Paimon have actually come across this person," Paimon said as she proudly told everyone. "While Paimon was looking for mushrooms to cook, Traveler saw somebody hunching over a bush. Traveler walked up to them and asked if they were okay, but they just attacked Traveler and Paimon!" Jean gasped from the story, and Diluc hummed.

"I thought they're only a normal civilian, but they actually have vision," the traveler said as they showed their arm with a wound. "They inflicted me with a cryo attack; they're using a bow, so it was a fast attack," the traveler said, and Diluc gulped.

"They have a vision?" Jean asked, and Traveler nodded. "And they have a weapon? A bow, to be exact?" Jean asked again, and the other two nodded.

It all dawned on Diluc what he just heard, and he remembered his dream again. A person who has a clear vision and uses a bow as a weapon. Is that....?

"Oh," Diluc murmured, gaining stares from the other three.

It seems like his wishes will come true

The traveler here will depend on which sibling you decide to choose, so yeah.
