Tsaritsa, the Cryo Archon, bestows the power known as cryo. Diluc usually ignores this power because it makes him think of a bad taste on his tongue. That past reminded him of his brother, somebody who has the same vision.

Most people in Mondstadt who have the same vision are annoying for Diluc's eyes. His own brother, who usually teases him over something irrelevant, and a small cat girl who hates every adult without thinking she'll become one at some point. A nun who doesn't even seem to be acting like a nun. Finally, there is this woman who seems to be so fixated on their family issues that she simply finds other things annoying.

Don't even get him started on the new guy in the Knights of Favonius. Not only is he a surveyor, which is already an annoying job, he also stutters a lot, which is not something the redhead likes. But out of all the cryo users, the only one he truly likes is his hero.

The hero that is currently standing in front of him.

"Well, I did not think there were two children in front of me."

Y/N spoke and looked at the two in front of them. They saw how the redhead looked at them, signifying something that was remembered. It seemed like both of them were doing the same thing, as Y/N remembered the day they saved somebody.

"Hey, honey. What's your name?" Y/n asked the little girl and she clutched Diluc's coat even tighter. Y/N sighed and slowly caressed the little girl's face, making the girl giggle. "Hmm, where are your parents, hon?"

"I am not sure; I was just playing hide and seek with my mommy, and I looked all over, but it seemed like those monsters were ambushing me," the girl said, causing Y/N to sigh. "Please, help me."

"Don't worry, the nice mister will accompany you, okay?" Y/N said and started leaving when Diluc cleared his throat.

"I think the strong person over here should accompany us, right?" The little girl nodded, which made Y/N startled. "What if we meet another one of those monsters? We don't want to get hurt, right?" Diluc asked the little girl, and she nodded.

"Yeah! You're really strong, so please accompany us!" The little girl asked and started pulling on Y/N's clothes. "Pretty, please?" She added, and Y/N sighed.

"Fine, I don't want you to get hurt anyway," Y/N said as they held the hand of the little girl. Looking back at the redhead, glaring at him. "You'll pay for this." The man just smirked at them, which infuriated Y/N even more.

"The knights can probably take care of her until they meet their mother," Diluc stated, getting closer to Y/N and looking at their feet walking on the grass. "So, you're the Blumenthal?" he whispered, needing to know if his speculations were right.

"Yeah," Y/n confirmed, making the redhead smile. Both of them remember the day they met and the same day where feelings stirred up in their stoned hearts. "I guess you still remember me, huh?" Y/N chuckled, recalling how small the redhead was at the time.

Diluc just smiled. How could he forget about the person who saved him against a monster? Since he has always been fascinated by heroes, it is very amazing that someone is willing to save him.

He also just found it cool that the person who saved him was clearly young, but their prowess is something notable. Maybe that's why he can't forget about them, since they're so powerful. Clearly, the man wanted to be as powerful as his hero.

"Thank you, Master Diluc!" The mother said as she started bowing at him. The little girl hugged the woman tightly and started sobbing. "Oh, I'm so sorry, honey!" The mother said, looking at Diluc again and saying her thanks.
