Backstory: Depends on which Final Fantasy World/Timeline.

Ones I've played:
-Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced:
Marche fights against her team in one of the towns. His team ends up knocking out everyone but her but unaware to them, she had a rare pair of gloves on. Suddenly her strength was increased and even as a white mage, she did a lot of physical damage, knocking out both Montblanc and Ritz, who were the only party members not unconscious. Even though as things looked ruff, Marche didn't back down. Eventually, Magenta's MP restored enough to use a strong spell and as Marche threw up his sword to use as a shield (his art shows him with a big sword) he instead felt all the damage he took, disappeared. She casted Cura on him, and with doublecast, casted an extra Cure on herself. She explained that she found his determination, will, and constant worry of his friends during battle admirable. But, before she could tell the judge she forfeited, he approached her with a red card. She forgot that Healing in battle was against today's rules and like that, she was teleported to the jail.
Marche would, a week later, head to the jail to buy out a teammate, and find that Magenta was still there. She explained that her team came by, angry that she didn't finish the battle and kicked her out, leaving her to set in jail. Marche offered to buy her out and to join his team. With nothing better to do, she joins and helps him on his adventures to get him home. As a powerful healer, she made sure everyone was in shape and the amount of party members KO-ed depleted significantly.
After Marche and friends returned to the real world, Magenta continued adventuring with Montblanc and crew. She has a art time job as a Marriage Priest, her first couple being a Bangaa and a Viera from their team (I would always roleplay, that the Bangaa and Viera on your team in the beginning were a couple, as a kid)

-Final Fantasy X & X-2:
Seeing Yuna's spells in action as she tries to be a summoner, she is inspired to be the best white mage. As she goes from temple to temple, praying to the Fayth, she was denied their help. One by one they said no, until she reaches Bevelle and after sending 7 days praying and nearly dehydrated and starved, she steps out, finally having an Aeon, Bahamut. This would inspire her, after being well rested, hydrated and eaten, to go back to all the Temples and claim all the Aeons. She does this and for a short time can use them, but after Sin was gone, so was the Aeons and the Fayth. She was saddened to see them go, especially Bahamut, but this way, they could rest in peace.
That is until a couple of years later when the temples were overrun with monsters. Hearing about how Yuna defeated Valefor, she feared Bevelle would be attacked but Bahamut. She storms there the same time Yuna, Rikku and Paine do and assisted them in the fight. She would hug his arm one more time before he disappears. Saddened, but also angry, she joins the Gullwings as their primary magic user, and sharing with them the Red Mage and Blue Mage dresspheres and 4 slot Grid that boosts healing spells and increases defense and magic defense.

Special Dressphere:
One with Fayth: Magenta is covered in white as an empty Fayth stone appears under her. As she seeps, the symbols used for each of the Aeons (minus Anima, Yoshimitsu, and the Magus Sisters) appear on the stone before she bursts out.
Clothed with the cloak of Shiva.
Hovering off the ground with the flaps of Valefor's Wings coming out of her back.
Her hair burning with the Hellfire from Ifrit.
Ixion's horn apon her head.
And on her hands, the claws of Bahamut.

Floating beside her is 2 smaller Fayth stones that slowly flash the symbols of her past Aeons. One cast buffs and debuffs the other healing and dispelling.

After Titus returns and is reunited with Yuna, Magenta sighs as she did have a thing for her but ultimately knew Yuna loved him. Rikku hugged her and told her, "Don't worry, Mage. You're so beautiful you'll have both sides wanting you." Magenta looked at her then gives her a peck before tell her thanks.

(I did play XII but never finished and don't really remember)

(Final Fantasy XIII I've played all parts but I don't have an idea about this one.)

(Hardly played XIV cause I don't want to pay monthly to play a game while already paying monthly for ps+ and my phone and my WiFi. No thank you.)

Final Fantasy XV: Magenta travels around as Noctis progresses. Every main location she can be found. After finding her being assaulted by enemy soldiers who thought they could... Have fun with her. She bonked one hard enough to knock him out before she was shoved and guns pointed at her. She wanted to cast a spell but they were too close and changing her Role in front of them wouldn't be smart either. But suddenly, the prince fazed over and pushed them back as the others joined in. Prompto helped her up as she grabbed her staff and fought beside them. After the soldiers and another wave with mechs came and were still defeated, they introduced themselves and she joined them for a ride to where she was staying. She helps them in combat anytime she can, fully healing them when she arrives. She owns a white chocobo that she rides in on when she comes in to assist. The chocobo will fight too.
After the time skip, she's the lead medic, casting her spells on the wounded. Her hair is longer than before but she keeps it in a ponytail so it's out of the way. Her staff's headpiece is a little damaged but she uses it like it's still new.
When Iris is at the base, she'll head to an empty Camper with Magenta to... Heal and... Rest up.
