Names: Mute (Worker Drone), Serial Designation Y (Dissembly Drone)
Job: Mute is a miner from before the Dissembly Drones, including Y, landed and attacked.
Status: Believed to be dead due to a cave in in the mines so to Y firing off a laser near a part of the mines with flammable gas, causing an explosion that trapped them both in.
Skills: Y can do anything the other Dissembly Drones can, more or less. She did learn how to change the color of her lights to a baby blue.
What happened in the cave: Instead of offing the murder drone that had killed some of his colleagues, he stared at her for a moment and decided to drag her away from the pile of rubble that used to be part a way to escape. He dragged her away, looking for another exit. Hoping for one. Eventually, Y wake up, seeing herself being dragged on a piece of trash. She hopped up and tried attacking. Her actions caused the cave to rumble. Thankfully, the cave stopped she they stopped. She asked why he saved him, with no answer. Turns out, His name has meaning, being he was a mute drone. His voice box was never installed. In fact, there wasn't a place for his voice box to be placed. So, they called him Mute. But, he found a way to communicate through his face screen. He would use his screen to display words or even emoticons to communicate. So, after explaining to her that he or even her wouldn't want to be alone in this deep dark cave for who knows how long, she decides to spare him but can't say if he'll survive the others if they make it out. She did attempt clawing her way out eventually, having lost patience of quietly walking, and attempting to fly and crash a few times, she caused another collapse, which ends with Mute losing both of his legs from the "knee" down. From the junk that he had dragged Y on earlier, she found some disassembly drone limbs. When asked how he got these, his screen simply says, "I figured you would need oil, seeing how you ate the others." There were also worker drone legs but nothing that would work. After a few hours, they were able to combine the matching pair of disassembly drone legs to his "hips" after Y enjoyed ripping off what was left of his legs beforehand. He had to learn to walk on these newer legs. After another week, he was walking straight.
Days Weeks Months?
They travelled these caves, almost endlessly. Circles, dead ends, cave ins; there was no end. Mute had one arm for a while.
Another note, Mute and Y were growing close in this underground world. Two drones, one meant to work, one meant to kill the workers, somehow slowly became close friends. They even got to the point of sleeping back to back with each other. Sure they fought, yelled, and argued, but they laughed and cared, as well. Without each other , they surely would have died from multiple outcomes..... One day, something caused a quake, and the cave started another collapse. Sprinting down the only tunnel they have yet to explore, the ground under them crumbled. As they fell together, Y smiled, grabbing Mute, and kicking him away. After the cave stopped crumbling, Mute dragged himself to his feet and started moving the rubble. Eventually, her finds her. Head pinned ander a rock, legs snapped in half, and a stalagmite sticking through her chest, and a fleshy creature on it with the same blue eye as hers. It had a tentacle around her arms. Her arms were barely damaged. She coughed and sets a tentacle on his hand. She confessed that she enjoyed their time, enjoyed having someone to talk and hang with without murder and screaming. She felt, peaceful with him. She tells him to take her arms. She adjusted them in her last moments so he could attach them to his body to replace his missing one, and then to replace his current one. As her eye started to go out, he showed his screen to her, with the words, "I love you," written on it. If she could smile, she would. Her tentacles slipped out of his hand, and she died. He buried her there with her body. He carried her arms with him, finding himself unable to attach them. His emotions were spiraling. Anger, sadness, depression, followed by loneliness, made it impossible to walk or do anything. He started replaying memorized in his head. Days went by. Weeks. Then, their last moments. Over and over and over and over and over again. He finally found peace with her wishes and left his arm on her buried area. Walking forward with her arms on his body. One month later, he started getting headaches, weird but he figured it was stress programming. Weird. He eventually found a light. And he steps out, seeing the sun......... Then steps back in cause his arm and legs started burning in the sunlight. He waited til dark, and stepped out again, basking in the moon light. He smiles before looking at his, her hands. He could feel as if she was still still here. Still with him.
He would find himself one night, bumping into a group of random workers, outside for no reason. Literally. No reason. He greeted them, to which they ran. Leaving one behind and sadly running him over in a car-like vehicle. He stares at the body. Oil leaking. He screen then popped up, "over heating." He kept staring at the oil, thinking of Y when she would eat and drink from the spare parts of drones they had in the caves. He sighs and drinks. He Froze and found himself drinking more. He finally stopped, staring at his reflection in the screen of the dead drone. One of his eyes had a weird, triangular, arrow like symbol. The screen then broke. He delt with this until he heard a voice in his head. Directing him somewhere. She sounded broken. Her voice distorted but sometimes upbeat. This was a part of Cyn that still resided in the solver he somehow caught. Though, he had a trump card that he didn't even know he had. Cyn tried to take over before the tail that he grew weeks ago, gained baby blue eyes. It was Y. When she was dying, she was able to program her memory records into a chip in her arms. The tail had a vessel like programing to it so she was able to take control and like Uzi and Cyn on the last scene, Mute and Y were reunited.
Mute and Y were able to shut this piece of Cyn down, deleting like a virus that couldn't survive.
They travelled across the planet until they found a door.......
