ONE - meet the kidsRobyn Snicket, the daughter of a very important VFD member. Wait, but what the heck is VFD. What does that have to deal with Prufrock Preparatory School? Why is she spying and not another VFD member? Will she die? Will she even survive? Who are the Baudelaires? Who are the Quagmires, and why did one die?
All these questions were drowning out her simple hearing of the vice principal of the boarding school she was undercover at, Vice Principal Nero. His voice was rather monotone or too lively, but Robyn couldn't tell which was which at the moment. All of these overwhelming thoughts were too important.
"Uh, hello?" Vice Principal Nero exclaimed. He snapped his fingers in front of the brunette spy. "You gonna answer? Please, go to lunch. I'll let you off easy this time since your friends with Carmelita." Robyn was caught writing down notes of the school and her observations during her English class. Her teacher was furious and sent her to the office as soon as possible.
"Thank you so much sire," Robyn said with her best British accent, which she had been faking the whole time. She gave him a fake smile and walked out of the door, seeing Carmelita tormenting a boy and a girl. Robyn walked up to the three children and crossed her arms.
"And you stupid cake-sniffers-"
"Carm, leave them alone," Robyn whispered. She tried to be mean, but the two seemed extremely genuine and unalloyed, which means pure.
"But why?" Carmelita complained. "They're just some orphan and parent less kids." Robyn glared at her friend. Well, not really friend.
"Just let them be. They seemed depressed." The boy's smile dropped as Robyn turned to him. He seemed familiar, but Robyn couldn't remember where he was from. "Enjoy the school, kids!" Robyn took Carmelita's hands and skipped to the classrooms.
Duncan Quagmire sighed and turned to his twin sister, Isadora Quagmire.
"I'm really not in the mood to deal with a clone of Carmelita," Duncan grumbled. Isadora huffed.
"Just give her the benefit of the doubt. She has an accent, people with accents are usually nice, right?" Isadora rambled, trying to get Duncan to be less depressed. "Oh well, guess you won't give her a chance. She can possibly have a piece of the spyglass we possessed." Duncan just quietly nodded and looked around the darkened hallways, the sounds of Robyn and Carmelita not to be heard.
Robyn laid her head down on the desk in her dormitory. She had finished studying and was too tired to prepare for sleep. She opened up her notebook with her observations of the school. So far, she has added many on the mysterious twins.
