When I agreed to partake in this little arrangement Duncan and I have, I agreed to pretend to be his girlfriend and him vice-versa.

On my terms.

To my parents.

So when said neanderthal told me that his parents wanted to meet me ever since they saw him walking out of my house- well, I couldn't really deny.

Credibility's important.

And if I have to do this and lie to his poor parents, then I might as well do my best.

"Come over at like three." Duncan said.
I'm assuming that 'at like three' is 3PM sharp, so that's when I'm going to be walking over.

Even though Duncan isn't my boyfriend- I'd still like to make a good impression, so I put on a presentable mid-length skirt and a long-sleeve top to pair it with, adding to my hair neatly straightened (as per usual).

As soon as Bridgette found out (I don't know how she did- most likely Geoff) she drove to my house and helped me get ready -enter face slap and eye roll here.

"Bridge. This isn't a big deal." I roll my eyes when she comes in with an overflowing bag of makeup and clothes.

"Oh, yes it is!" The voice from behind beams- startling me at first because I didn't notice he was here too.

"Geoff. What are you doing here?" I furrow my eyebrows.

"You're boutta meet his parents! This is a big deal whether you like or not." he hugs me as I huff and Bridgette nods along.

"How about you go to Duncan's instead?" I suggest.

"Wow. Don't want me here?" he frowns.
Before I can answer, Geoff says, "I will anyways 'cause we gotta help from both ends." he gives Bridge a fist bump that somehow turns into a kiss, and quickly hurries out.

"You two are too obsessed with this." I groan, closing the door behind the mousy-eyed girl.

"Oh, shut up. We just wanna see our friends happy." she grins.

"Ughhh." I groan as we walk upstairs.

"Be grateful I didn't bring all the girls."

DUNCAN TARUN
I was taking an amazing nap.
Like one of those that when you wake up you're all sweaty and shit.

Yeah.
One of those naps.

Until I heard a stupidly annoying noise (the doorbell) and opened the door-eyes-half-open, only to find a giddy blonde at my doorstep.

"I heard Court's meeting the parents!" Geoff almost squeals, and I'd laugh at him but I'm too tired.

"It's no big deal, dude." I roll my eyes as I close the door and he hurries in.

"Uh, yes it is!" he furrows his eyebrows.
"When Bridge met my-"

"Malibu's your girlfriend," I explain.
"Princess is my neighbour."

"Neighbour? I think you two are little more than that."

"We have an arrangement," I say as I collapse back onto the couch. "That's all it is." I shrug.

"Right." Geoff gives me an unconvinced look.
