CANDLES illuminated Sandra as clothes flew into her bag as she rushed around a crappy room she'd been sharing with Harriet for the last few days. No one else knew what she had been planning for the last hour, and she wanted to keep it that way.

Carlos and Minho may still be in WICKED's hands, but that wasn't going to stop Sandra. No, instead she was going to go straight to the lion's den and take back what was hers. Could she die? Yes, very likely. But that didn't scare her—didn't stop her.

"Hey, Aris is—what are you doing?" Harriet asked, coming to a stop in their doorway with raised brows at her frantic packing.

Sandra kept her back to her as she lied, "Just doing an inventory check of what I've got."

Harriet tilted her head, knowing the girl was lying straight through her teeth. "You'll die going after them on your own," she stated, walking into the room.

"I don't know what you're talking about." Sandra faked a laugh, slowing down her packing as she looked over at Harriet with a fake smile. There was no way she was going to let them know what she was planning. "We leave in two days, so I just want to make sure I've got everything I need."

Harriet rolled her eyes, dropping down on Sandra's bed. "I'm not dumb." She raised a brow at Sandra who held back an annoyed groan, dropping her bag on her bed. "Everyone here knows how far you're willing to go to get back your brother and your friend. In all honesty, they might turn a blind eye to you leaving, but I won't."

"You're gonna stop me?" Sandra asked, crossing her arms over her chest with a small wince at the pain in her shoulder. "I didn't think you cared about me that much," she mused.

Harriet snorted. "You might be a cold-hearted...bitch, at times, but I actually like you, otherwise I wouldn't share a room with you. Trust me on that."

"Woah," Sandra drawled with a small smirk. "The Harriet actually likes someone other than Sonya and Aris. Who would've ever guessed?" Sarcasm dripped thick from her voice as she picked her bag up again, starting to pack in the rest of her clothes, ammo, and knives.

The corner of Harriet's lips twitched into a smile, but it quickly disappeared as Thomas stopped in the doorway, glancing at her before focusing his attention on Sandra who hadn't noticed him yet.

"Where are you going?" Thomas asked Sandra, walking into the room as she groaned that time.

"She's going after Carlos and Minho," Harriet simply said, getting up off Sandra's bed and gently grabbing her arm. Sandra slowly looked at her hand and then at Harriet. "Listen, I would go with you, believe me, I would, but it's complete and utter suicide. Save yourself and stay with us."

Sandra considered her words for a moment, but her mind was already made up. "I don't leave my boys behind," she said, pulling a small journal out of her bag as Harriet let go of her. "You can't stop me and if you won't come, then at least hold onto this for me." She held out the black journal to Harriet who stared at it with Thomas. "If something happens, then promise me you'll give it to my father for me."

Harriet froze, glancing at Thomas and then back to Sandra's eyes that held a plea in them. "You'll give it to him yourself," she said, starting to walk away.

Sandra stopped her, slamming the journal into her chest. "Please, Harriet. I didn't ask Newt, Thomas, or Sig. I asked you."

Thomas stayed silent, watching from the doorway as the girls stared at each other and Harriet looked like she was fighting within herself, struggling to make a decision.

And then after a long moment, Harriet took the journal before pushing Sandra's arm down. "I'll hold onto it, but you'll give it to him yourself," Harriet sternly said, taking in a deep breath before walking away. Thomas moved out of the doorway, but she stopped and turned to him. "Don't let her go on her own," was all she said before walking out of the room.
