Chapter 5: God and Eros

When they arrived, they were attacked by Dredge Head's missiles. Candy created a wall stopping them and trapped them in a sugar cube exploding it without injuring anyone.

"Thanks," Maiko smiled.

"No prob.," Candy answered.

"You think you can stop me! Let's see if you can escape this," Dredge Head mentioned.

"Guys, be prepared to dodge," Wade ordered.

Dredge Head, the cyborg became a giant spinning drill, levitating in the air and spreading forth metal floating blades. He commanded them to go as they created an explosive web pulled back like a slingshot before firing. Candy gathered all his blades in crystal boulders and sent them after him in full force. It crystallized his body trapping him in a sugar crystal fortress.

"Dredge Head? She froze him in a crystal!" Homey Comb said.

"This girl is trouble for us, Ghost Tape," Moleglass warned.

"Get Holo and Eyes here," Chess appeared and yawned.

"Chess! You're back? I thought you were with Eros in Cosmos?" Homey Comb mentioned.

"Yeah, but he isn't pleased with your progress to conquer this world. What is taking you so long?" Chess asked harshly.

"Their recruit, Sugarfrost is super strong and her power is different from Black Trumpet and his team," Moleglass explained.

Chess raised an eyebrow and repeated, "Sugarfrost?" He laughed. 'Her power makes me curious. How much trouble can she cause?' he thought. "Where is this sugar thing?"

"Over there!" Ghost Tape said pointing at the massive crystal fortress that trapped Dredge Head inside while a beautiful crystallized woman stood on top of him. Chess was amused by her beauty and dangerous aura.

"She's the one who caused all this trouble, huh?" Chess asked. "Interesting," he thought aloud with a smirk and called his partner, a black horse with wings standing on a dark cloud, "Let's go Rage!" he commanded. His poisonous beast flew them at a God-like speed to Candy.

She sensed his presence and turned and saw a handsome man riding a flying horse dressed in a black leather stealth suit wearing a broken mask.

"Are you with Four Sides?" Candy questioned.

"Should it matter?" Chess asked.

"Yes, because we can stop this mess together," Candy explained, hoping to negotiate with him.

"What makes you think I'll snoop, this low to ruin Eros's plan to claim this planet?" Chess declared.

"What? He can't do this! Earth is my home, he can't take it away!" Candy yelled.

Chess liked her guts. "Honesty can get you killed woman but that's what I like about you," he flirted, teleporting to her and he held her waist in his arms.

Candy pushed him away. "Get away from me, you monster!"

Chess smirked, "I'm glad you realize that. I'll not fight you today, my queen but I'll surely have you before Eros does."

"No, you won't, you stupid bastard!" Candy yelled and fired sugar crystal blades at him as he teleported into another dimension.

Wade saw what happened and came to her.

"Sugarfrost, are you okay? Did he hurt you?" He asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine. That pervert? He didn't do anything," Candy reassured.

"He is one of Eros's powerful henchmen," Wade explained.

Candy repeated shockingly, "Powerful? That guy?"
