As the following week of Glee Club started, Faith was sitting next to Brittany and Santana while they waited for Mr Schuster. Before even letting him put down his stuff, Rachel made a b-line toward him.
"Mr. Schuester, I have an announcement. I've selected the perfect moving ballad for Finn and I to sing to launch our performance at Sectionals." Faith joined Santana and Brittany in their eye rolls, though Rachel was like a sister to her she was very pushy and selfish at times.
"Me first. Two things. First, our competition at Sectionals are your classic stool choirs. Great voices, but they don't move. Now if we're gonna beat them, we need to do what they can't. Dance. Which is why I've decided to feature Brittany and Mike Chang's sweet moves in our performance." Everyone was excited for them, Faith was especially excited for Brittany. It still seemed that Rachel had an issue with this.
"Wait, they're gonna dance in front of me while I sing my solo?"
"You're not getting a solo for this competition Rachel." That made everyone's jaw drop, but also their ears perk up at the opportunity that they could have a solo. "I was thinking that the winners of our duets competition would take the leads."
Faith was about to start clapping for the new soloists, until right before she put her hands together she put her thoughts together first. Faith and Sam were singing a duet. She looked to her right across Quinn and at Sam. He gave her a smile and a high five before Quinn pulled them both into a side hug and told them she was proud of them.
"Faith and Sam?! Wait a-a-are are you trying to throw this?"
"Rachel what the f-" Before Faith could finish her statement, Quinn stepped in.
"You used to be just sort of unlikeable, but now, I pretty much feel like punching you every time you open your mouth." Faith had to agree with Quinn, she felt she and Rachel were getting along really well but recently Rachel just seems to be more self-absorbed and willing to put anyone at Risk just to have a solo.
"Okay, listen, I have talked the talk about everyone in here feeling special for over a year now, but frankly I haven't walked the walk. I mean, we have got a lot of talent here, and I'm gonna highlight it." everyone seems to be happy that Mr Schuster was finally allowing some other talents to shine. Though Faith was happy that she and Britt would be featured, she hoped Quinn and San would also have the chance to.
Rachel must have pulled one of Finn's strings because he spoke up.
"Look, I'm all for... pumping up the team, making everyone feel special, but that's for practice. You don't take the star quarterback out before the big game." Faith loved her brother, but sometimes he needed to know what was meant for sports and what was meant for show choir.
"You are such a hypocrite." Faith's eyes went wide when she realized Santana was about to unleash something fierce.
"Oh, like you even know what that means."
Seeing Rachel try to be feisty, was like seeing a stripper go to church, it doesn't work.
"It means that your boyfriend is full of crap, hobbit!" That would have made Faith laugh if she wasn't talking about her brother.
"You know what? Ever since the wedding you've been up my butt and I am sick of it!"
Superhero Finn seems to always step in it. "C'mon Rachel, she's not worth it."
"Oh really? Cuz that's not what you thought last year in that motel room." Faith, along with all the other members of the Glee Club jaw dropped. Santana was about to unleash a bomb. "That's right Yentl, your sweetheart? He's been lying to you, cuz he and I totally got it on last year."
