As everyone was sitting in the choir room, Tina was crying.

"You know what, girl Chang? If you cry every time someone gets a hangnail, it kind of starts to lose its effect."

"It's not a hangnail. Mercedes was one of Glee's original members. I feel naked in here without her."

"Yeah, well, get used to it, 'cause, without her singing for us, we're going to have to perform naked for the judges to vote for us at Sectionals."

"Guys, we can't be like this okay? Yes, it's sad that she's gone but we still have lots of talent here. Don't act like her being gone is the be-all and end-all, we've gone through worse..."

"Easy for you to say, Faith, you acted like you didn't even wanna be here when Sam left."

Tina's saying that left Faith and The New Directions in silent shock. When Rachel walked in, not sensing the tension, Finn was the first to try to make everyone feel better, especially his twin who he knew was very affected by Tina's comment.

"No. Look, let's stop it, everybody. So we lost a singer. So they cancelled the musical.-" Before Finn could finish his pep talk, Rachel was caught on one point.

"Wait, what? No, no, no, no. You can't cancel my musical.

"Sue cut the funding. The point is, right now, we shouldn't be turning on each other."

"I agree. I can only speak from my experience with the Warblers, but no show choir is just one person; it's a team. When we lost a Warbler, we just replaced him with another one."

"Which is easy when your waiting list has a waiting list."

"Blaine, from experience, McKinley isn't like Dalton or Carmel. These people wanna be here to be here, not to tear others down so it's not a very long list.'' Faith finally chimed in, still feeling discouraged from Tina's earlier comment.

"Dude, I know you're a big deal at Dalton or whatever, but we don't wear blazers here, so have a seat-I'm trying to give a pep talk."

"Finn!" Faith tried to warn before Blaine stepped in.

"Didn't you just say something about us not turning on each other?"

Rachel, as always, seemed to be only focused on herself and her issues.

"No, you can't cancel my musical. Okay? I was considering changing my name to Maria."

"The musical is not cancelled. As for Mercedes, yes, that is a huge loss for us, but we will deal with replacing her later. Right now, we need to focus on putting on this musical."

As Mr. Schue explained selling ads in the program, everyone seemed to have some hope, especially Kurt who seemed to already have a plan. When Faith went to get up with Santana, Finn said something snarky.

"Hey Santana, ready to help out the team?"

"Yeah of course, why?"

"Just checking."

As Santana and Faith were walking out into the hall, Faith whispered over, "What the hell was that about?"

"I can tell you later. Meet me and Britt at Breadstix. I have something to talk about with you two."

Faith agreed before they went their separate ways.

Later that night, Faith was third-wheeling Brittany and Santana's date but she didn't mind. They were her favourite couple and she didn't want them to have to get caught if they didn't want to.
