Prom season was finally back but this time it was different. For Faith and most of the new directions, it would be their last one in high school. Their senior prom.

Faith was standing at her locker when Sam showed up. He hadn't had practice this morning but Faith did so Sam came in with Finn instead of her. Because Faith hadn't noticed him, Sam wrapped his arms around her waist and started kissing her cheek.

"Excuse me Blondie, I have a boyfriend that should be here any second." she giggled.

"Handsome? Blonde? Hottest voice in the whole school? I don't think he would mind." He said, trailing his kisses lower down her neck.

"Yup, that would be my guy. And he probably wouldn't care." She quickly turned around to catch his lips and hers before they were interrupted by the PA system blaring the school with Sue's voice.

''Good morning McKinley High! First of all to those of you thoughtful enough to leave maternity gifts outside my office, both I and my unborn child thank you and your lacklustre Cracker Barrel meat and cheese medleys, and I'm sure that my trash can will find them delicious.''

"I'm glad I didn't leave anything for her yet," Faith muttered which made Sam laugh.

"now it's time to announce this year's senior prom court nominees. Your choices for prom King are... Rick 'the stick' Nelson, President Brittany S. Pierce, that's weird, and also, Finn Hudson.'' Faith quietly clapped for her brother, even though he wasn't around. ''And now on to the category we all really care about, prom queen. Missy Gunderson. Santana Lopez. Quinn Fabray. And Faith Hudson. Congratulations to all our nominees...'' She was cut off by a banging which left her to cut off the PA.

Faith was standing there in shock, she couldn't believe she was nominated for Prom Queen, especially alongside her best friends.

"Faith...That's incredible you were nominated for prom queen!'' Sam said excitedly before pulling his girlfriend into a giant hug.

"People actually want me to be prom queen? Like, they voted for me to be nominated...'' She still couldn't wrap her head around what had just happened. Sure, she was a Cheerio, but she also didn't try to fit into the popular crowd. She was a member of the new directions and that's how she felt on the McKinley High food chain.

''Well, I voted for you. And, I had a few friends as well. This is a major deal, baby. Everyone loves you. You deserve this. I can help you with your posters later in the week, okay?''

Faith hummed before pressing her lips onto Sam's and grabbing his hand so they could walk towards glee club together.

As Faith was sad in the new directions meeting, Finn came in and she was quick to high-five him and congratulate him on his nomination.

''A big congrats to all our prom nominees! But, hey, listen up. We are all winners because Principal Figgins asked the new directions to sing again this year! All right, Brittany has an announcement.'' Everyone clapped and Brittany made her way to the front of the room.

"Hello, my fellow Americans. The theme for this year's prom will be... Dinosaurs.'' While Santana commented on the theme, Faith couldn't help but giggle thinking back to the conversation she had with Brittany not too long ago about the theme. ''I was inspired by the new girl Joe who reminds me of a cavewoman. The Refreshments will be berries, meat and rainwater. As you are no doubt aware, the US elections are riddled with corruption. Therefore, to keep the prom elections completely above board, I have appointed Santana and Quinn to count the ballots with Faith supervising.''

''What? That makes no sense. All of them are nominees and the only one who has ever been 100% honest is Faith.'' Faith smiled at her stepbrother, understanding the confusion.
