Naina pov
In the tranquil embrace of Nainital, amidst the towering peaks and serene lakes, I, Naina Talwar, returned to my humble apartment after a fulfilling day as a teacher at the KDB School. The weight of my profession sat lightly on my shoulders, a stark contrast to the burdens I carried hidden beneath the surface. My bloodline traced back to an ancient mafia dynasty, my father, the revered Don of our organization. Yet, I had chosen a path divergent from my family's legacy, seeking solace in the mundane routine of a teacher's life. I had left behind the treacherous world of violence and power struggles, hoping to carve out a semblance of peace for myself.
As I stepped into my apartment, a chill ran down my spine. My brothers, formidable enforcers in our family business, stood in the dimly lit living room alongside my father. Their presence sent a surge of unease through my veins."How are you?' I asked cautiously. 'We're fine,' replied my eldest brother, Raj. 'We're here to get you.'
'Naina,' my father's voice echoed through the room, its familiar authority cutting through the silence. 'It's time.'
A knot tightened in my stomach. I had known this moment would come, but the realization that my sanctuary was about to be breached filled me with a sense of dread.
'I know you've been content with your life as a teacher,' my father continued. 'But you cannot escape your destiny. Our family needs you.my voice trembling. 'For what?'.You're getting married,' said my other brother, Tej. 'Next Saturday.'
My world crumbled around me. 'Married? To who?' I gasped.'To the Singh brothers,' Raj said. 'Ansh and Rudra.'
Shock and disbelief coursed through me. 'But they're our enemies!' I protested. 'I can't marry them! ''You don't have a choice,' my father interjected, his voice cold and unforgiving. 'There's a truce between our families now. You must fulfill your duty as a mafia princess.'
I had always known that my father would not allow me to remain aloof from our affairs indefinitely. But I had hoped that he would respect my wishes.'I can't,' I whispered, my voice trembling. 'I don't belong in that world. I've found peace here.'
My brothers exchanged knowing glances. 'You have no choice, Naina,' one of them said. 'The family is in danger. You must return to your rightful place.'
Tears streamed down my face as I realized that I was being sold to my enemies in the name of peace. My future had been stolen from me.
'Enough of this drama,' my father snapped. 'You will marry Ansh and Rudra, and that's final.'I sank onto the sofa, my mind reeling. The freedom I had fought so hard for was slipping away from me. I had been a fool to think I could escape my past.
'I understand,' I said finally, my voice devoid of emotion. 'I'll do whatever is necessary.'
My brothers smiled grimly. 'Good,' my father said. 'You will leave with us tomorrow. Your life as a teacher is over.'
As they turned to leave, I couldn't shake the feeling that I was stepping into a void from which there would be no return. My dream of a normal life had been shattered, and I was destined to fulfill my duty as a mafia princess.
I didn't know what horrors lay ahead, but I knew that my freedom was lost. As I gazed into the cold, unforgiving eyes of my family, I felt a profound sense of despair. The life I had once known was gone forever.Hello everyone
