After Ansh and I entered the office, we immediately delved into work. The attack on our warehouse wasn't just a random hit-it was a direct challenge. My blood boiled as I thought of the audacity behind it. Whoever orchestrated this would regret it. I wouldn't just retaliate; I'd make an example out of them, ensuring no one else dared cross us again.

We were reviewing the initial reports when Vicky, one of our trusted underbosses, knocked and entered the office. His expression was grim, which only confirmed my suspicions.

"I want you to keep a close eye on Nitin," Ansh instructed, his tone sharp and unforgiving. "I think he's double-playing us."

Vicky nodded without hesitation. "Sure, boss. But there's more. I believe Jatin is planning to betray us. He's been meeting with the enemy."

A smirk tugged at my lips, though there was no humor in it. "Have someone watch his every move," I ordered, my voice calm but deadly.

"Yes, boss," Vicky replied, bowing slightly before leaving the room.

Ansh leaned back in his chair, his brows furrowed. "You think it's Jatin behind the attack?"

"Yes," I said firmly. "He's held a grudge against us for a long time. The timing lines up perfectly."

Ansh nodded slowly, his eyes narrowing as he processed my words.
I leaned back in my chair, tapping my fingers against the desk as the rage simmered just beneath the surface. "We need a big attack," I said, my voice cold and decisive. "If we don't retaliate with force, people will think we're weak. They'll start coming for our throne."

Ansh's eyes gleamed with calculated determination. "I've already taken measures," he replied, his voice steady. "I've set up tracking and trapping devices on every underboss's phone. If someone's playing dirty, I'll find out soon enough."

I gave a curt nod, trusting his methods. Ansh always had a way of staying a step ahead, and that was one of the reasons we ruled with such dominance.

He stood, adjusting his cuffs with a sense of purpose. "I have some other work to take care of. I'm heading to my cabin," he said, turning to leave.

"Good," I replied, watching him stride out of the room.

I turned my attention to the shipment heading to Germany, meticulously going over the logistics. Every detail had to be perfect-timing, routes, security. There was no room for error in our line of work. But the lingering anger from the warehouse attack gnawed at me, threatening to distract me from the task at hand.

A sharp knock at the door pulled me from my focus. Vicky stepped in, his expression uneasy. "Boss, we can't track Nitin. I think he's gone underground."

The words hit me like a spark to dry wood, igniting my fury. I slammed my fist on the desk, the sound echoing through the room. "What do you mean you don't know where he is? I gave you one job, Vicky. One job! And you can't even manage that?"
