Atlas, Scott, Liam, Mason and Corey are all staring at the black spot of the ceilling that was origined last night by the Ghost Rider. "That's how he got in?" Corey questions.
"What is it?" Liam asks, frowning.
"It's a point of impact from a lightning strike" Mason explains, shrugging. "Usually you'd find charred spots like that on the ground after a violent thunderstorm."
Upon hearing Mason's statement, Scott's eyes widen once he realizes something. "That's how the Ghost Riders got in. He rode the lightning."
Atlas turns his head to face Scott, "you mean this guy was sat on a lightning bolt and yeehawed his way into your house?" Scott shrugs, obviously thinking that's exactly what they did. "Fucking cowboys."
Scott turns to Liam, who also has a surprised look. "If they can use lightning to pass the Mountain Ash."
Atlas finishes the sentence for him. "No place is safe." Atlas looks away from Scott and to the other three boys, "we fucked up."
"What about the others?" Corey questions, looking away from Atlas and to Scott. "It's my fault they're marked."
"We'll find a way to protect them" Scott states. "All of them."

Atlas and Liam get out of Atlas' car and make their way towards the school. The whole car ride was silent, neither knowing what to talk about.
Just as they are about to reach the double doors Liam sighs, "is your arm okay?"
Atlas nods, not offering a glance in Liams direction. "Perfect." Atlas still couldn't feel his arm and the pain was starting to travel through his body but he decided to leave that part out.
"Are you lying?" Liam asks, frowning at the taller boy. "Because the way you're walking suggests you're in pain, the way you stink of blood and struggle. Why are you lying?"
"I don't want to worry you" Atlas grunts, opening the door into the school, letting Liam walk through first. "Just give me some time to heal and get my strength back I'll be good."
"Atty I want you to worry me" Liam admits. "That's what I want. I don't want to feel like you need to keep everything to yourself. I'm here for you. No matter what."
"You heard Scott yesterday" Atlas scoffs. "Asking you what I had taken? I'm never going to be more than an addict."
"Atlas" Liam says, stoping by his locker to look Atlas in his eyes. "Don't think like that. He was worried for you."
"He sees me as an addict. That's all I'm ever going to be. Every day is just another day of sobriety. Another day of wondering when I'll relapse" Atlas states, shrugging.
"No stop" Liam demands. "Yes you're an addict but that's in the past. Not present. You did the work. You're ninety four days sober. I love you so much."
A small smirk breaks its way onto Atlas' face hearing Liam say those three words. "You love me?"
"Of course I love you" Liam chuckles. He moves to kiss Atlas, putting his arms around his neck. Atlas places his hands on Liams waist and pulls him closer, every kiss hungrier than the last.
A cough comes from beside them but Atlas ignores it as Liam tries to pull away, Atlas keeps his lips locked onto Liams. The person coughs again. Atlas sighs dramatically as he pulls away, biting Liams lip quickly.
