Chapter Seven
I woke up Sunday morning and put on some coffee. I let the dogs out and decided to fry us up some bacon. Sammy and Jake love bacon.
While the bacon is frying I drink my coffee and watch the dogs frolicking through the snow, from the kitchen window. There's no sign of the wolf this morning. I bring the dogs inside and we all enjoy our breakfast together.

"So boys, what shall we do today? How bout I hitch up the sled and you boys can pull me around?" Neither dog seems too excited about my idea. But I take them outside and hitch them up anyway. I need to go to the store, which is a bit of a hike. And the dogs can use the exercise.

I open the gate and grab the reins. Away we go, through the snow. When we get to town I tie the sled to the hitching post and go inside to shop for some groceries. I soon run into Brian from school.

"Hey, Brian, did you enjoy the game Friday?"

"I know you did, Mary. I thought I warned you about that guy. He was all over you and you seemed to be totally enjoying it. You need to be careful, Mary. I'm telling you. Something is off about that guy. Watch yourself, girl"

"I really like him. I don't care if he talks to himself or any other strange things he may do. He treats me nice. That's all I care about."

"Did you let him fuck you, Mary?"

"Why do men have to be so crude? For your information, I did invite him in but he declined. He said he had something he needed to do,"

"Ok, but letting him stick his tongue in your mouth may make him feel like he has the green light to go forward."

"I didn't let him, Brian. He just did it, ok?"

"And you let him, Mary and you enjoyed it, Mary. Don't you get it?"

"I told you I grew up in an all girls boarding school. I don't know about certain things, ok?"

"Well, I guess you'll figure them out as you go along. That should give him a big advantage."

"Stop laughing at me, Brian. It makes me feel stupid."

    "Hey, I'm sorry ok?"

"Sure, ok, I have to go now. My dogs are outside. So I'll see you at school tomorrow."

    "Ok, see you tomorrow."

I untie my sled and we mush our way back home. I close the gate and unhitch my dogs. They take off running to get inside. I put the sled out back and open up the door to the house. Sam and Jake rush inside to lie by the fireplace. I put some more wood on the fire and sit down to read my book. Then I remember the groceries are still tied to the sled. I was so frazzled by what Brian said to me, I forgot what I went out for. Now I have to go back out and get the food I bought. So I bundle back up and head out back. I just stand there for a while, taking in the quiet, enjoying the sparkling snow. Wondering to myself, "Why I haven't heard from Danny. Did he decide he doesn't like me anymore after spending an evening with me? He sure seemed to enjoy kissing me. Men are strange, maybe he has other girlfriends he sees. Well, I need to get these groceries put away for now. Tomorrow's a new day.

Chapter Eight
As I walk down the hallway at school, that same boy starts sexually harassing me.

"Hey there, girl. I heard you been seeing Dan Jones. Is he any good? Let me show you what a real man can do!"

"Well, if you see one around here, Be sure to let me know."

"You know somebody needs to teach you some respect, girl. "You think you're better than everybody else. Well you're not better than me."
I keep going trying to ignore him. His name is Joey. They call him the Italian Stallion. Claim he's hung like a horse. I think he's a disgusting pig.
I get my books out of my locker and head to class.
When I get their I pass Joey. He sticks his foot out in front of me and catches me when I trip, pulling me into his lap.

"You deliberately tripped me, you pig!"

"Temper, temper, watch your language, girl. I might have to turn you over my knee and paddle your ass."

    "Try it pig!"

I struggle to get off of him while the entire class is laughing at me. Then I slap his face hard. "Don't you ever touch me again!"

Everyone stops laughing as the teacher walks into the room.

All I want to do is get through this day and go home to my dogs. At least they love me.

After class I step out into the hallway and Joey grabs me from behind and swings me around to face him. Our noses are practically touching.
"Don't you ever slap me again, girl! You got it?"
Dan comes up beside us and pulls me away from Joey.

"She's got it Joey, now leave her alone."
Joey gives me the evil eye as he slowly walks away.

    "You alright, Mary?"

"I will be. Right now I just wanna go home."

"Don't let him intimidate you, Mary. He's a big bag of wind. Anyway, you've got me to protect you."

"Why do you like me, Dan, nobody else seems to like me."

"That's because you're different, Mary. The same reason they don't like me. Come in here with your skirt up to your ass and half of your tits hanging out and I guarantee you; they will love you, especially Joey."

    "That's not gonna happen, Dan."

"Then you better get used to being pretty much alone. But hey, you've got me. I think you're great, Mary."

"I appreciate that and thank you for the rescue."
"Maybe we can attend another game together sometime, Mary. I really enjoyed your company."

"I'd like that, Dan. Talk to you later.
