has my heart been loud enough for yours to hear my plea
how else explain that softest touch you have just laid upon me
our evening's end I have not foreseen
though my mind has dared to wonder and dream
how that mysterious smile might taste in the dark
and if I will be brave enough to ask
if you feel comfort as deeply as I do as your shoulder touches mine
and if you long for every look and gleam as I do of those eyes divine
and if every second spend in silence with you has been a remedy
it's depths my soul hold in despair of sharing with you so easily
