Confusion

(Alright mentions of past abuse and stuff like that)

"Please just leave me alone, I don't want to talk to you" Cairo tried getting out of the grip but couldn't

"Mom called me and told me they threw you out" Cairo rolled her eyes at her brother, is this seriously why he's here?

"If that's why you're here, then leave" Cairo said and tried getting out of the grip but it only tightened

Caleb rolled his eyes

"I'm here to take you with me, and fix you, because what you're doing is unnatural" Cairo looked him in the eyes, and her mouth fell open

"Let go of me, or I'll scream" He scoffed and shooked his head

"Not happening, this or Mom will send you to conversion camp" Cairo couldn't believe this anymore, this must be some sort of a nightmare

"Caleb, I swear I'll scream, then call the police to get a restraining order against you" He smirked and tightened the grip on Cairo's forearm

Cairo hissed from the pain

"Come on" He began to pull Cairo away, she tried backing away from him but he was much stronger than her

"No! Let me go!" Cairo shouted at him but he didn't listen, instead pulled Cairo harder

His grip will definitely leave a mark on her arm

"Shut your mouth!" He said in an angry tone, Cairo felt a tear slip from her eye, she had to do something!

Cairo was gathering the courage to punch or kick him, but before she could, Caleb was grabbed and shoved against the wall

"Are you okay Miss. Sweet?" Cairo was extremely confused, why did Mr. Lamon save her? doesn't make sense

"Yes, I don't know him" He nodded, Caleb was frightened by all this, Mr. Lamon grabbed him and began dragging him out of the school

Cairo stood there confused, she had no idea what just happened

She took a deep breath and looked down at her arm, it was red from the grip

Cairo was wearing a dress as usual, it wasn't long-sleeved, She couldn't hide it from Cc

The brunette sighed in defeat, she has to tell Cc the truth and come clean

Cairo just waited for Cc to be done with soccer practice, she went to the bathroom to get herself together

She just looked at herself in the mirror trying to pull herself together...

She heard the bell ring and sighed, Cairo put a smile on her face and walked out of the bathroom

Cairo was waiting for Cc to be done with changing, it took a good ten minutes before the blonde walked out with a soft smile on her face

"Hi" Cairo smiled at her girlfriend, Cc leaned down to capture her lips with her own "Hey" The blonde said quietly

"Cc, We have to talk" The blonde felt a shiver run down on her spine at those words, and her smile disappeared

"Did I do something wrong? If so tell me, I can change it" Cc began to panic, she thought Cairo wanted to break up with her

Cairo giggled and cupped Cc's face

"No, you didn't, I did by lying to you, I need to tell you some things" Cc saw Cairo's forearm, which was red and a bit bruised

Cc gently took Cairo's arm and looked at it

"I'll explain it, but not here, can we go home?" Cc nodded and pecked her lover on her lips, feeling relieved that Cairo didn't want to break up with her

The two girls made their way out of school and then home, they went to Cc's house

"Hey girls" Jess greeted them as they walked through the front door, They both smiled

"Now, look I know you're in love and everything, but I barely see my daughter twice a week, Could you spend more time here?" Cairo giggled and nodded

"Sure, no problem" Jess sighed in relief and nodded, Cc just stood there then gently took Cairo's hand and pulled her upstairs into her room

Cc sat down on the bed while Cairo closed the door

"Okay, So I have a lot of things to tell you, Because we're together, I trust you, and I have to tell you, because a relationship cannot be built on lies" Cc just nodded and watched her lover talk

"Okay, but take your time, you don't have to tell me everything at once, take it slow, I'll wait for you, baby" Cairo felt her heart melt at those words

She sat down next to Cc and kissed her softly

"But I really need to know who did this, was it Mr. fuckhead?" Cairo shooked her head

"No, but he was involved, which was weird, it was my brother, Caleb" Cc furrowed her brows

"Brother?" Cairo nodded she sucked her cheeks in before continuing

"Yes, I have an older brother, he was always the favorite so he got away with everything" She said with one breath, Cc was still confused

"And by everything, I mean everything, Like abusing me and things like that" Cc's mouth fell a bit open as she looked at her girlfriend

"How did he abuse you?" Cc asked as she finally gathered her thoughts to speak

"Well, He's a smoker, every time he was nearby smoking he liked putting his cigarette out on me, once he almost drowned me, He used to hit me, not in a playful way, he absolutely beaten me up until I couldn't stand or get up

'Cairo zoned out as she talked, while Cc just listened to her'

Once he broke my arm and told my parents that I fell from the top of the stairs when he was just mad that his girlfriend left him and took his anger out on me, I was five then"

Cc couldn't believe this, she has a brother, but they could never hurt each other like that...

She saw a single tear leave Cairo's eye which the brunette quickly wiped away

"Most of the burns aren't there anymore, but he liked putting it out on my back, usually on my shoulder blade, the left one, It's still there and it's sensitive"

Cairo sat up and told Cc to pull the zipper down on her dress which the girl did and watched her lover pull the dress down

She showed Cc the scar, it wasn't small, Cc had seen it before but never mentioned it

Cc ran her hand over the scar which made Cairo's body jerk and pull away

"Please don't, I really don't like it when someone touches it" Cc smiled and gently turned Cairo around

Who was quiet, hoping Cc won't change her mind about dating

"Okay, I won't" Cc said quietly as she made eye contact with the girl, Cairo sighed through her nose

"And this doesn't change the way I see you, I still love you just as before, I won't leave you, baby" Cairo closed her eyes trying not to let the tears fall

"Why? Cc I am so fucked in every possible way" Cc smiled and put some hair behind her lover's ear

"Because, no one is perfect, I love you the way you are, no matter what" Cc spoke quietly to her girlfriend who just couldn't believe this

Cairo just nodded and fixed her dress letting Cc pull the zipper up, before pulling her closer

Cairo laid her head on Cc's chest and listened to her heartbeat

"I love you too" Cairo said quietly as she closed her eyes

Cc smiled, she felt bad for Cairo...

But she still loved her the same.

She held her close and caressed her back, avoiding her left shoulder blade...

She pressed a soft kiss in her hair which made Cairo snuggle more into her chest.......
