MARK

𝙄 was getting out of the building when I saw my wife walking towards the parking lot. "Se Jin-ah!" I shouted and she turned around with a smile, "Hai Mark," she waved at me. I ran and hugged her. "Let's go together, shall we?" she nodded and we both got in my car, driving off.

"Why did you come to the university?" I asked her while driving. "Jihyok called a meeting saying that our company has made another deal." "With whom?" "Kang San," she looked outside.

"You mean the head of the university?!" What did that old punk had to do with business? "He's one of Sapphire's donors, y'know. He agreed to invest in us. Thus, I came here and here I'm," she grinned.

Cute.

SE JIN

Outside sights were getting boring so I started taking glances of Mark. He had his shirt sleeves rolled up and the silver watch was really making it hard for me.

Him and his beauty will be the death of me.

When he took a turn on the road, he did it single-handedly: that single hand turning the steering wheel was straightforward hot. Thanks to his veins, I was having a live shooting of my fantasy in my head.

"You know you can do whatever you want when we're back," there was a tinge of naughtiness in it. "I didn't do anything for you to say that," I rolled my eyes as we got out of the car and went in. "You were eyeing me as if you wanted to devour me right then and there."

No lie though.

"Please, as if I really want to," I scoffed. As I was about to go upstairs, I got scooped up by him and was being carried to my room. "Put me down mister, it's not like I can't walk." "I've many ways to make you not walk."

Was the ac always broken or is the weather just unusually hot?

He threw me on the bed and crawled on top me pinning my hands. "Fiesty, are we?" I looked to the other side and he took the chance to nuzzle in my neck tickling me, "Yah!"

"Remember our honeymoon?"

Nope.

He was slowly joining our hands and coming dangerously close to my face.

I said nope-

"We were alone: candles lit, petals everywhere, you under me and screa-"

"Mark."

"Neighbors complaining you were so lou-

"MARK."

"Me having to help you because you couldn't walk-"

"MARK TUAN YOU BETTER SHUT UP UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET BEATEN BY MY SLIPPERS!" He jumped off the bed. I threw a pillow at him but he dodged it smoothly. "Better luck next time," he winked. "This little-" I ran after him.

"Think it over," she twirled the pen, "you won't be getting such a good chance in the future

"Think it over," she twirled the pen, "you won't be getting such a good chance in the future." Her words were laced with malice. "B-but. . . it's too risky, " the reporter was trembling. "I guess I'll have to withdraw the mon-"

"I'LL DO IT- I'll do it Ms Soran," he breathed out. "Good, let's start our work tomorrow shall we?" "Yes Ms Soran," he bowed and went out knowing very well he was walking into fire.

She watched him as he walked out. "Se Jin, MD of Sapphire, wife of Prof. Mark Tuan," she threw a draw pin at the photo which was stuck on the board, "how thrilling would it be to see your downfall. . ." standing up she walked towards the board.

"I even sent him a message but seems like your husband didn't want to open it. Ah, my poor heart. . ." she took out the photo and crumpled it.
