MARK

"𝙁rom the lane towards right," I turned as per the directions Soran said. "We've reached," I pulled next to her house. "Thanks Professor," she leaned in an attempt to kiss me which I blocked with my arm.

"Don't you think you're being too harsh on a lovesick teenager?" she grabbed my collars and pulled me close, "maybe I can be a better replacement for your wife," she pressed a kiss at the side of my lips.

"Nice fantasy," I chuckled. "But first try to take this," I showed my hand to her, "then we'll think about it." Seeing her speechless I laughed out loud, "Thought so." Seems like my ring was a nightmare to her. I leaned in close making her back up against the window pane.

"Now get tf out of my car," my voice was low and I was clenching the steering wheel so hard. She stomped out and I drove back home. Way to ruin my mood, I felt conflicted after that kiss.

As soon as I got back, I put the keys and my bag on the table. Se Jin was at the kitchen table writing something. Seemed like she had taken a bath already. She smiled, "Mark," "Not now Se Jin," I sighed and went upstairs. I definitely needed a shower.

SE JIN

"Strange," he never calls me by my name formally unless he's angry or frustrated. I decided to leave him alone until he got cooled down. I continued my paperwork.

While writing, I heard him come and sit near me which made me look up. His hair was quite damp and had a white t-shirt & pant, just like me. I stopped writing and scooted closer, "How do you feel now?" "Better," he brushed back his hair.

"Did you eat anything?" "I don't feel like eating," he fiddled with his ring. We didn't talk any further and silence filled in. As if to avoid the awkwardness, Mark talked, "Sorry," I perked up, "for being rude to you like that."

"But you didn't do anything wrong," I was getting worried hearing him apologize for nothing that he has done. "But I shouldn't have called you like that," now I got it.

"It's just my name Mark," I laughed trying to lighten him up but his face showed no emotion, eyes looking down at my ring. Taking a deep breath I held his face in my hands, "Yeobo," this time he looked in my eyes, "do you want to talk out?" He didn't reply.

"If you don't feel like talking, write it down: just scribble down your feelings. Do something to sort out your feelings because bottling it up will impact your mental health," I lectured for which he nodded.

"Now cheer up will ya?" I squished his face seeing how adorable he looked right now. "Aw, aren't you a cutie," I hugged him tight and kissed his cheek. "I feel much better thanks to you," he hugged me back, as if he didn't want to let go.

"Jagi-ah," "Hm?" "I love you," he snuggled to me. "I love you too," I patted back. We just stayed like that for the rest of the moment.
