"𝘼nyways. . . about the photos-" he was cut off when his phone rang. He took the call, "What is it?" I could see his expression changing to something unreadable. He switched on the TV tuning to the news channel.

Of course it was the scandal regarding me. Then played a video of a female whom I recognized to be one of our worker. She was giving testimony about me and Jihyok.

The video continued to play with photos of me and Jihyok together while I zoned out. Another bomb has dropped in here.

He abruptly stopped it in midway and stood up, "I guess there's no use in talking out," he grabbed his coat & keys walked out slamming the door behind. I stared elsewhere mindlessly.

My phone rang to which I responded, "Han. . ." "Se Jin-ah everything's out of hand. The paparazzi has released one of our worker's video saying you & the CEO are-" "I know, and please don't apologize. I hate it when people apologize for no wrong they'd done," I chuckled.

Silence.

"Should I come over?" "No one's stopping you," I hung up leaning back on the couch. I was too tired to even cry because what difference would it make?

Someone barged inside snapping me back to reality. "Oh Han uh. . . you arrived pretty early-" "Where's yo husband?" she looked around as if searching for someone to murder. "Out." "Should I fight him?" "What difference would it make?" I rolled my eyes.

"I hate that I'm no help to you," she mumbled into my hair while hugging me. "At least you guys believe my innocence," I hugged her tight. "By the way," I pulled back, "any news in Sapphire?"

She looked me in a way which clearly said you stupid or what.

"What do you mean news. . . your scandal is buzzing everywhere. That makes me wonder: you remember the new employee?" "Who?" my forehead creased. "Uh. . . some guy named Lee Nill? Lee Pill! Yeah, him."

"What about him?" She scooted closer, "He suddenly disappeared after the rumor. Then he sent his resignation letter via the secretary." "So?" I prodded. "What I'm trynna say is. . . does he have something to do with your scandal? Did he infiltrate the company?" she raised an eyebrow.

"Even if it is how will we find it?" "Excuse me? You're asking that question to a talented lawyer- someone related to judiciary and investigation and yet you still ask 'hOW WilL wE fiNd It' ?" she beat me up with the nearest pillow she got hold of.

"Just kidding! Just kidding- aish will you stop," I put up my hands in defense. She stopped and let out a deep sigh. "I promise we will definitely get you out of this hm?" she held my face. I nodded slowly, as if unsure if I'll really get out of this mess.
