Cousins

As my 18th birthday approached, excitement filled the air. Tita Alisa had mentioned that the Miller's Cousins would be visiting today, and I couldn't help but feel curious about them.

Isang mainit na hapon, habang tumutulong ako kay Tita Alisa sa ilang mga paghahanda para sa paparating na pagdiriwang, tumunog ang doorbell, nagpapahiwatig ng pagdating ng aming mga bisita. With a smile, Tita Alisa ushered them in, introducing me to each of them in turn.

"Brea, I'd like you to meet Kira and Kallisto Sanders," she said, gesturing toward a pair of stylishly dressed twins. "And these are Irish and Collin Hendrik," she continued, "Next, is Ethan Ford and Cameron Finley"

My eyes widened in surprise as I looked at the diverse group of cousins, each with their unique charm and personality.

I greeted them warmly, feeling a sense of excitement at the prospect of getting to know them better.

"It's so nice to meet you all," I said, my voice filled with genuine warmth. "I'm Brea Zakera Hartly.

The cousins returned my greeting with smiles and friendly nods, and we quickly fell into conversation, exchanging stories and sharing laughs as we got to know each other better.

A few minutes later, the Miller brothers made their way downstairs to greet their cousins.

Adrian, Ashton, and Austin's voices filled the room, mingling with the laughter and chatter of our guests, creating a lively atmosphere.

"Hey, guys, good to see you again," Ethan said, extending a hand to Austin.

Cameron nodded in agreement. "Yeah, it's been too long. Can't wait to catch up."

"We just saw each other last week and you're acting like we don't go to the same school," Archie remarked with a playful grin, nudging Ethan lightly.

Ethan chuckled, shaking his head. "Oo nga no, but it feels like our school is a country we rarely see each other in."

Their exchange was met with laughter from the others, who nodded in agreement.

As the afternoon wore on, I found myself drawn to Kira and Kallisto, intrigued by their dynamic and the easy bond they shared. Kira's bubbly personality and Kallisto's laid-back charm made them a delightful pair, and I couldn't help but enjoy their company.

Ate Irish and Kuya Collin, on the other hand, were quieter but equally engaging, their thoughtful insights and warm manner adding depth to our conversations.

And then there was Ethan Ford, whose infectious enthusiasm and quick wit kept us all entertained, and Kuya Cameron, whose loud and liked to tell jokes.

As we spent the afternoon together, getting to know each other better, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the opportunity to meet such wonderful people.

Each of them brought something special to the house, and I knew that my birthday celebration would be all the more memorable with them by my side.

As the sun began to set and the time drew near for the celebration, I felt a sense of excitement building within me.

With the Miller family's cousins joining us, I knew that my birthday would be a day to remember, filled with laughter, joy, and the warmth of newfound friendships.
