Are you death or paradise?

A haunting question, a bitter spice.

In the wreckage of what used to be,

I search for answers to set me free.

You're the storm that rages, fierce and wild,

Yet also the calm, the tranquil child.

You're the darkness that consumes my soul,

Yet also the light that makes me whole.

In your embrace, I find both pain and grace,

A tangled web, an endless chase.

Are you the end or a new start?

A healing balm or a broken heart?

Perhaps you're both intertwined,

A paradox of the heart and mind.

For in the depths of despair, I find,

A glimmer of hope, a love defined.

So I'll embrace you, death and paradise,

For in your arms, I'll pay the price.
