16. Lunch

3rd person's POV:

A worker served all the food at a huge dining table. Their dining room is fancy with expensive decoration and furniture.

"Kids, don't feel sly while eating. Feel like your home and have whatever you want."

"Yes, Aunty."

"I'm not telling you, Krik."

"All of you are already my child and this is your home too. I'm telling this to them" Mrs. Chankimha said while looking at Beaky, Irin, and Char.

"Thank God, I thought you forgot us after getting a daughter-in-law."

"Well, that was a joke. Freen and Becky are just friends. Right Freen?"

Freen nodded while having her food which made Becky sad but Freen was right they were just friends till now.

They all enjoyed their food in silence and went to the garden after having their lunch.

"Damn, I had too much"

"You are always like that Heng" Heng looked at Kate and set himself on a bench in our garden

"Forget it, did you guys hear something again?"

"Please, Kate, not now"

"Freen, You can't run away from the reality that Your parents had already fixed your marriage with someone"

Becky lost her last hope after hearing this from P'fa and Freen. Now she knew why Freen didn't pay any heed to her proposal. But she doesn't even know who that person is.??

This was Freen's mom. 1st she hesitated to talk about it in front of new girls. But now she knows that those girls belong to this gang now.

"I talked to your aunty and we will fix your engagement ASAP."

"I'm not getting married." Freen was frustrated by this and was ready to protest because she now wanted to be sure about the feeling she had for Becky.

"I don't want any argument," Mrs. Chankimha said coldly and Freen didn't dare to say anything after this. She just sighed and ruffled her hair.

"P'freen you never told us about this."

"We just met days ago I think. And you are expecting me to say this many personal things to you, seriously, Becky?"

Freen said emotionlessly and went away. No one dared to stop her as they knew controlling Freen would be hard now. It's not the First time that Freen got angry with her mother because of this topic and went away.

"Now, we better head to her room and watch some movies."

"Krik, how can you say so?"

"Nam, Krik is right. Waiting for her will be a waste of time and we don't know when she will come again or she will again repeat those things"

"What things?" Becky asked as she was tensed and hurt at the same time.

She never thought Freen would answer her like that. So, it's true that Freen is rude.

"last time she went to the library and we were finding her everywhere."

"Not for a week, for fucking 3 days," Nam added while sighing.

"What was she doing there for 3 days?"

"Char, Freen loves to read books and painting is her hobby so she was reading some books and painted some random people there"

"YOU fucking fool. Shut up. Let's heed to Freen's room"

"Okay, Kate," Heng said as they all went to Freen's room Becky was hurt and sad she was somehow controlling her tears.

"As much I know, Becky stalked Freen and she got admitted to this college just for Freen. But don't know what exactly she feels" Char said while looking at them and Iris started.

"Becky, Freen is not happy with all this"

"But, P'nam, Then she should talk with her mother."

"Do you think she didn't try?"

"Fuck it. This all started in January. Fuck this year. Freen is depressed and ruder after this, P'fa got hit by a fucking girl, and Kate's crush got married" Noey said with full anger on her face

"Noey......" everyone looked at Irin and she went in front of P'fa

"P'fa.... I'm.. so sorry... I never knew I hit you... and ik that caused a huge loss ...but still... I'm asking for your forgiveness. Please forgive me, I'm sorry....." Irin said while her head was hung low in front of everyone.

"No problem, Irin. I knew it and Char has already cleared it for me..."

"Girl, be thankful. I was on my way to smack our head on the first day. But Noey fucking started testing the mike that time" Everyone was staring at Nam and P'fa sighed before saying,

"Hope you won't do that again. She is now our friend's Gf"

"sorry for that" Irin added with a sad tone. Nam got up from the bed and Hugged Irin who was standing in front of her.

"You are now a sister figure to me. I thought you did everything intentionally. But now don't need to be sorry."

"Yes, look, our P'fa is hell strong a car is nothing to her"

Everyone laughed at this and Irin chuckled.

Everyone tried to avoid that topic as this would hurt Becky. Nam and P'fa could see In her eyes that she was hurt and she might not have known but she loved the older girl- Freen.
