Ash couldn't feel his body anymore, it was hard to breathe. He tried so hard to escape, the dark empty surroundings, Ash was so confused, "where am I?" He said to himself sighing. He got up and started walking. Walking. Slowly he started running, running and there was no end. No beginning. When he turned back there was nothing, he felt like he never moved.

Ash started sweating hard and screamed for help. He yelled for his mom but he only heard echos.

Finally he fell down a tear escaping his eyes; he felt so lost. He wanted to get out of this void, this empty space, it was so suffocating for him. He wanted to see sunlight. Wanted to meet his mom again, wanted to see Serena;

Serena.

"ASH!" He could make out that voice from a distinct corner as he stood up again and went towards the sound. Determined.

"Ash!" His vision was blurry and saw pair of glistening blue eyes, blinking twice adjusting his eyesight.

"W-wha?" Ash was very much confused as he felt a jolt of pain on his legs. He was in hospital judging by the surroundings, white walls, monitor and nurses, doctors rushing here and there.

"You're finally awake. ." Serena said closing her mouth as if the universe answered her prayers. Ash smiled softly unable to recollect the events that led him here and reassuring her. He saw his mom running with a bag and then started crying. He felt bad. What exactly happend? Why was he here?

He looked at Serena who was siting at the couch near the window. She fell asleep and looked bit relieved; Ash's heart saddned by the sight of her and his mom.

His mom worked nonstop to support Ash no matter what━ so Serena took the initiative to stay with Ash and take care of him; as his girlfriend that is.

Ash just smiled at the initial days of their dating, they wanted to be private.

But Ash couldn't control his feelings anymore. He wanted to hold her hand, tell how grateful he is to meet her, tell how much he likes her. People might think it's too cliche, that they 'just' started dating but it won't be permanent.

But they know. They know how much they cared for eachother. How much they mean to eachother.

He recollected the library date that made him feel better. He had kissed Serena on her hand to which she turned crimson. Ash enjoyed everything with serena; he wanted to make her happy, make her feel comfortable.

"How's your leg? Does it hurt?" Serena asked while taking Ash on a round. He felt pathetic being on wheelchair.

He remembered everything. He tore his ligaments while playing basketball couldn't balance and hit the pole. Fainted.

Thanks to his low strength, low immunity power he needs alot of rest now.

The doctor announced that he cannot play sports again; he can run but excessive will make his heath more worse and that came like a big wave of shock to him. He liked playing alot. It made him feel alive.
