The crowd fussed and wailed in unison, thousands of Mount Rageons all at once chattering, texting, screaming over the fresh news of their number one idol's arrest. Just like their music, the news spread like wild fire, an inescapable disaster, and on every shining screen was plastered the guilty faces of the iconic duo Velvet and Veneer. Captioned; "FRAUDS" in huge red letters.
The night had started off oh so promising, the young siblings embracing their endless sea of fans, leading to their spectacular on the road performance. Even after being called out by those small fuzzy troll creatures on the red carpet of the rage dome, no rageon dared to suspect any foul play. I mean, who would respect the opinion of a troll right?

Inside the compound there was a tension rising. The only sounds made were the footsteps of guards, and those footsteps made louder by the thick platforms of the newly arrested performers upon the glistening marble floor.
"Alright you two, this way, we'll make things quick if you comply." A burly guard ahead of them stated as he tinted his sharp sunglasses. Velvet muttered something under her breath but, other than the odd incoherent mumble, was silent. For once. She tugged at her tiny thumb shackles, looking down at them in disbelief every time she felt them lock. She knew there was no getting out of it, as ridiculous as the size of them was, they were designed so that the flexible rageon couldn't slip out of them, like regular hand cuffs.
Her irises were pulsating an infectious magenta, leaking into her blue. Despite being without troll essence she could feel the magic flowing through her veins and it burned at the back of her throat. Her pupils were directed elsewhere, and her head was turned away from her brother, despite them walking one luxurious shoulder pad next to another.
Veneer, on the other hand, was running off of a pure adrenaline rush post arrest and was frantically attempting to make conversation despite his position. Trying to make his sister speak to him as the silent treatment really wasn't her thing. His eyes, too, on occasion flashed the purply hue, but any other sensation was blocked by his distracting blabbering. "Wow- I am mean wow it is fancy in here- you really wouldn't think that it would be- ya' know being a jail n' all- really top notch! Cleaner the better I say haha- like we deserve of course!" He paused for a moment as his head darted around and then focused back onto the guard in front that was guiding them both through the long hallway. Trying to ignore the fact that they were surrounded by several other security guards. "It's like you were expecting us! Right Vels?" He continued and gave a long embarrassed chuckle that trailed off into an awkward whistle. Velvet ignored his comments.
"Ah well we figured the 5 star treatment was what Mount Rageous's biggest stars deserve!" The head guard sarcastically added to Veneer's attempt to self soothe. Looking back at him, lowering his sun glasses to look him up and down. I guess fancy outfits and perfect hair really don't hide everything. Veneer made eye contact with him briefly, frowning, he raised his arms to brush some of the tassels under his shoulder pad into place as some had become tangled and out of place from the performance. Not that it mattered. Velvet seemed to mimick his action, except only to scratch at her throat, all the while still avoiding eye contact with her sibling.
