"What the hell?" Velvet stumbled forwards as an imposter to the small group crashed into her from behind. She dropped her drink upon impact and spun around fuming at the sudden interruption. Only to be met with familiar violet eyes widened as they looked up at her from a frightened face. "YOU!?"

Orchid gasped, freezing like a deer in headlights. She didn't mean to crash into someone! The fact that it just happened to be Velvet made everything that much worse. She began pleading with her. "Oh my God, i-i'm so sorry! Someone tripped me and- I really didn't know it was you! I-" She scrambled her words, mixing up one apology for the other. The death stare Velvet was giving her did not help and made her fumble even more.

Velvet stood up straight and placed her unsoiled gloved fist on her hip as she inspected the blathering girl before her. She wanted nothing more than to go off the handle and let her have it, but she had to take into consideration the fact that she was currently trying to keep up appearances. There were already whispering doubts in guests' minds about Velvet's genuinity in particular. She wanted to prove them all wrong. She looked back at the others she was talking to and sighed, looking back at Orchid, who was still trying her best to find the right wording. "Ughhhh, just shut up! You're so pathetic. Come here."

"Wait, what are you doing?" Orchid asked, her voice jumping. Velvet firmly gripped onto her arm. She gave the others an awkward smile as she dragged her off to the side line. They thought simply that they must know each other and didn't dare comment.

"Right." Velvet started with a snarl as she whipped Orchid around to face her, letting go. "What the hell do you want? Money? An autograph? What!? Is trying to publicly humiliate me not enough for you!?" She spoke through gritted teeth as she tried her best to keep her voice down. Despite the volume of the room drowning out her words, she had a projective voice. But rageons had a good ear.

Orchid looked down at her arm and rubbed it after she let go. Accepting that she deserved the man handling. "I don't want any of that. All I wanted was to apologise to you for what happened downtown. That's the only reason I'm here. But it looks like I just made things worse."

"Yeah. You sure as hell did." Velvet stood up straight and folded her arms, looking down at her distastefully. All she wanted before was to spend time with the purple performer, but now she didn't even want to look at her. "How did you even get in here? Are you fucking stalking me you little creep!?" She started to raise her voice in an accusatory manner as she quickly realised that Orchid wasn't even supposed to be there to her knowledge. Her logic started to fly out of the window as her temper got thinner.
Orchid couldn't believe this was happening. Tears started to form in her eyes as she was being put on trial, her confidence had been taken by the one person that had helped her to gain it in the first place. Velvet just scoffed and leant down to get in her tearful face. "You really think you have the audacity to cry right now? I was right! You are pathetic, you're a cowardly, insignificant street stalking nobody who's trying to climb the ladder by trying to shoot me down! I'm right aren't I?" She got in her face, resisting the urge to get physical with her. To Velvet, she was a threat that had to be eliminated. After today, all of her worst fears had been realised and she was on the attack to avoid it happening again.

"Stop it! Just stop! I-i'm not a stalker! I-i got in because Ritz is my cousin- all I wanted was to apologise. I promise never to bother you again if you just let me." She blurted out in order to get her words in. She couldn't take the false claims anymore. Her tears started strolling down her cheeks as she stopped for a brief moment. Orchid had always wore her emotions on her sleeve and the look on her face showed that her truth was sincere. She thought back on what she said. Velvet was right. She was pathetic.

Red Velvet didn't want heads to turn. She remembered to breathe and calmed down, backing up away from her. Orchid was shaking from her outburst, the tall rageon sighed, looking down at her pitifully. She wasn't a star, or a recognisable face. But to her she was a flirty street performer who gave her the time of day to give her compliments and friendly attention that she craved. She squinted as she tried to imagine how she was Ritz's cousin, he had mentioned having one but didn't say much else. The longer she looked, the more she noticed some similar traits, but even if she was who she claimed to be, that still didn't excuse her behaviour.
