IT'S BEEN 15 YEARS SINCE ATHENA BLACK was murdered by death eaters. Or at least that's what the Wizarding world thinks.

AFTER HER CONVERSATION WITH POTTER ATHENA DECIDED it's best if she started to head to potions class, even if she was 10 minutes early. How could he say such things about her? He doesn't even half the story and all of a sudden he had painted Athena to be the bad one.
As she made her way down to the dungeons, where the potions classes where held, she noticed very few people where already seated inside such as Lily Evan, Mary McDonald, Remus Lupin, Severus Snape and Theodore Nott.
As she entered the class with 5 minutes to spare she decided to stand by Theodore Nott, the only decent person in the class so far.
"You alright Athena, you're standing by me!" Nott joked.
"Seeing as you're the only decent person in this class so far" Athena replied laughing.
"Am I hearing this correctly.. you think I'm decent!"he gasped
"Don't let it get to your head Nott, not everyone has arrived yet!" Athena laughed.
"Too late Black" he joked.
"Where's Emilia, is she not coming today?" He questioned with a slight flush to his cheeks.
"Erm she's actually not in this class, she's with the Ravenclaws!" Athena replied whilst combing the ends of her hair with her fingertips.
"Haven't seen you and Regulus around Sirius that much?"
"That's because he got disowned Nott, but you already knew that" Athena signed.
"It's for the best Athena, you shouldn't be talking to blood traitors even if their family" he ranted
Athena nodded as she noticed everyone had made their way into the classroom. The class was not too big as many struggle to reach Potions NEWT.
"Good afternoon 6th Years and welcome to your first potions class of the year!" Slughorn ranted on, though Athena tuned him out until James potter came walking in late, and just her unfortunate luck Sirius was with him too.
"Sorry we're late Sir!" Said Sirius as they came and joined the rest of the group and the front.
"Thats okay just make sure to be on time next lesson"
Athena sent a hard glare at Potter as she noticed he was standing near her
"I've prepared a few potions for you to look at, just out of interest, you know. These are the kind of things you ought to be able to make after completing your Newts!" He rambled on.
"Can anyone tell me what this potion is?" Slughorn said as he lifted the lid to a pearly potion.
"It's Amortentia sir!" Lily called out. "It's ought to smell differently to each of the according that attracts us!"
