A couple of years? Maybe 5?

No...it has been a decade since "that"

An incident that unleashed countless dungeon breaks, both large and small scale.

It was also that time when the star Broadcast stopped happening for a while....

I only hope that if someone manages to go back...they can stop "that" from happening..

Yet here we are...

In the final days of "it"

Looking at the ruins of the once prosperous city like ███████ ████ it's still heartbreaking to see it in this state...

But no matter, there's only a few more hours until the last wave happens...

Location: Last bastion, year 21██

I arrived at the last bastion, it's a typical name for a place in these times but...I do believe that it really is one of the few places people can live without worry..

"Tea?" said the butler, I waved my hand to signal that I'm not interested, he nodded before he left.

Looking outside, I saw a lot of people were building a new headquarters for the old stars, I sighed remembering the sacrifice that everyone made to be able to survive the waves...

Knock knock

"It's open" I said staring blankly on the ceiling.

"I didn't know the young genius was lazy~" the voice teased..

I slumped from my seat before recognizing the voice..

"If it isn't the Man that wields Gadalin" I said a slight smile on my face.

He sat down on a nearby chair before he looked at me with his usual cheeky smile on his face.

"Soooo! How's the young genius?" He questioned, I merely sighed before replying.

"Nothing much, still the same as usual" I said my voice was a bit quiet, in response to me he only chuckled. But then again...

"███, you do know what our relationship is right?" He said as he reached out and patted my head.

"Mhm..I know..but" our relationship..it was a secret that only the saintess and some others know.

Needless to say, he and I are in a. Romantic relationship, it would be weird to tell the world that the young genius fell in love with someone as plain as him. It will also be weird if they found out that I was dating someone from the same gender..but

"The public's opinion? I really don't care bout that honestly, buuuut.." he stood up before he walked closer to me, and with that.

He planted a kiss on my head. Momentarily shocked I struggled forming words, and he wasn't even done!

"I'll love you as long as you're you!" He smiled as he said that, I could feel my face becoming hotter, damn you, you sly bastard!
