Avery's POV
"I can't believe you don't like it." I pouted as we pulled up towards the familiar gates.
It was around 10 in the morning now and everyone in the mansion seemed to be awake. People were standing around the front foyer chatting away, the men all in their suits. Some of the girls who worked at the bar were sitting outside drinking their iced coffee.
A few of them stopped what they were doing and pointed at us as Vince sped past them. The men also seemed to be distracted by us, their gaze following us until we entered the garage.
Vince parked and helped me get off the bike. This time, I took my helmet off and handed it over to him. He grabbed it and handed me my cup of milk tea.
"I really think it just tastes like tea. Nothing special." He grabbed my hand and walked us both back into the large house, his own cup in the other hand.
"Nothing special?!" I gaped at him, causing him to chuckle and shake his head from side to side. "And yet you liked that coffee?"
"Personally, coffee is better." He walked us straight past my bedroom and up the stairs. A few people were lingering downstairs, they all looked up at us as Vince continued to pull me upstairs.
"Personally i'm offended." He shook his head again and proceeded up another few levels. "Where are we going?"
"I moved your room up to my level." He stated simply, making my eyes widen.
"What?" I puffed out as we went continued to climb the stairs.
"I don't want you to get hurt again," We finally came to halt in front of a room, "And since you dont want to tell me who hurt you last night, I figured it would best to keep you closer to me." He opened the door and I gasped at the sight of the room.
It was double, if not triple, the size of my room before. In the middle of the room lied a king sized bed with a large, white, circular bed frame at the head of it. In front of the bed was a tv screen that hung against the wall and on the side of that, was beautiful white vanity set.
"Theres a walk in wardrobe too," he led me towards another door and opened it. Inside the closet, there were racks filled with different types of dresses, tops, skirts and pants. There was even a section filled with satin pajama sets and a lingerie section. "I got someone to go buy everything for you, since you don't have a lot of clothes in the wardrobe downstairs."
"Thank you Vince, but this is too much. I really do like my room downstairs. You can save this for someone else." He grabbed my hand and walked me towards the other door in the room.
"This leads to my room," He opened the door and sure enough, it was the dark room that I was in last night. "If you ever need anything, i'll be right next door."
I looked up at him, lost for words.
"Let me take care of you."
The door opened and Luca ran in, his phone in hand.
"Vince we got a problem!" Luca looked over at us and a smile creeped onto his face "Did I interrupt something?"
"I'll be down in a minute." Vince's body langauge became stiff and rigid, just like he always was, whenever there was someone else with us.
"We kinda don't have a minute to spare, we need you in the meeting room as soon as possible." Vince stood up and glared at him.
"I'm gonna go sleep if thats okay?" I interrupted them, my hand clutching my milk tea tightly. "I'm sleepy."
