Brody's POV:
I waited for Leo at the school gate. Hey. I said. Hey, what's up? He asked. I came out to my parents yesterday. Oh my god! That's amazing! He said. Thanks, I want to tell my friend Jason and my brother, then we can walk hand in hand at school, the only thing I care about is being out to people I care about. I said. That' great! You do know not everyone is going to except you? Right? He said. I don't care, then they don't, as long as they leave you alone. I said.
Leo's POV:
As soon as he said that I started blushing. I'm happy for you, but it'll effect your mental health more than you think it would.
Beverly's POV:
Brody, Leo, Quinn and me were talking. Then I saw Elliot. Hey, what happened? I asked. I.. my dad got drunk with his friends and I.. he... he gets very aggressive and always yells at me... he.. I was scared, he's really unsupportive, he knows I'm non-binary but still uses he/him pronounce for me. My mom isn't very supportive but she does use they/them pronounce for me, but every time my dad is drunk or angry he uses my pronouns as an excuse to yell at me. They said. I'm so sorry, I.. maybe you could sleepover at my house sometimes, just to.. get a break from it. Yeah.. thanks but Luckily he doesn't act that way to my little sister, she uses my pronounce but still calls me big brother but I don't mind. They said. That's good. I replied.
