He stated while the young Michikatsu sighed. "I guess shopping here won't hurt us..." They then entered the store and picked out some toys. When Michikatsu was about to pay, he saw Yoriichi talking to a young boy their age. "Yoriichi? Who are you talking to? Didn't I tell you not to talk to strangers? They might kidnap you." He tried to pull Yoriichi off but he wouldn't budge. " Come on, brother. You know that I don't really have anyone to play with while you train...so I want a friend." He said while Michikatsu looked at you sceptically. "Are you sure that this boy is not being used by bad guys? You know some kids are used to making money." He stated. "No, big brother! I don't think Y/n is a bad guy! C'mon can you just try to talk to him and get along with him?"

Yoriichi begged as the little Michikatsu sighed and agreed and turned to the boy named Y/n. "So...your name is Y/n, right? What does your family do for a living? Are they broke or you don't have parents at all..." He said bitterly as you shook your head. "No actually...my parents own this toy shop and dozens of toy shops in the country so I'm not broke..." You said with a smile which made Michikatsu's jaw drop to the floor. "See? I told you, brother. Y/n is not broke at all! He's 10x richer than us!" Yoriichi said happily as Michikatsu sighed. "Oh, I'm sorry about that, Y/n...but this apology does not mean I trust you completely!" Michikatsu stuttered a bit while you laughed. "Oh...I really want to get to know you two more." A little Y/n stated.

Yeah so...that's how we met and as time went on, our friendship started to become stronger and before we knew it, we were practically like a family now. Of course I always thought Y/n was better than me because not only is he 100x richer than me, he's also hotter than me! And I guess that's how my jealousy started to grow but it was just mild that time until he told me he was gonna join the demon slayer corps. I was stronger than him at first but then he started to slowly become more powerful than him and that's when my envy for him became more powerful as well.
