A/n: I KNOW I'M BACK, I'm just hoping I don't quit making stories cause my motivation is going down. I'm gonna be ending this book when it reaches 100 chapters now :)

"Seriously brother? You're gonna leave Ume and us here for hours? We'll get bored, you know." You whined as Gyutaro turned to you. "I'm sorry but that's what I have to do...You know money doesn't grow on trees." Gyutaro stated as you huffed. "I know, I know but you know that  it's boring when you go to work since me and Ume have to entertain ourselves. You complained as Gyutaro rolled his eyes. "You're older than Ume so you shouldn't complain and plus you and Ume are the perfect pair because you two are fairly attractive and as for me...I'm literally ugly." He stated while you shook your head. "Really, brother? Why do you always think lowly of yourself?" You asked in an annoyed tone. "What? It's the truth and everyone knows that."

-"Seriously? That's what everyone thinks but I think you're really handsome."

-"Ha, you're very funny. What a nice joke."

-"Like seriously, you're really fine."

-"Look, Y/n, I don't have time for party jokes and I need to go to work."

-"Fine..just don't let others opinion get to you, okay?"

-"Whatever, I'm going to work."

And with that he closed the door as you sighed. Later that night, someone knocked at your door and told you that your sister Ume was gonna get burned by the villagers. You then rushed to her aid but there was nothing you could do about it. They also captured you and stabbed you.. A few hours later, Gyutaro found both of you dead. He then took both of you in his arms and screamed.

"Why does life keep doing to me?! Why can't I just live a normal life!?" Gyutaro screamed as he held both of you in his arms tightly. "Why... Why isn't life treating me fairly...this is not fair!" He then knocked on people's houses but no one would help him. He kept walking but there was no use. People simply wouldn't help him but then...a "kind" man appeared in front of him and offered him to become a demon and he didn't hesitate to.

(Present day)

"I had to become a demon, Y/n...if I didn't then you and Ume would perish from the world and besides, Douma would kill me anyway." He stated. "yeah...I get it, brother...you just want the best for me and sis." You sighed as he nodded. "I'm glad you understand now why I became a demon. It was to protect you from harm." You nodded as he hugged you. "I hope you realized how much your big brother cares for you." You rolled your eyes and nodded. "ONII CHAN! LET'S GO PLAY SOME GAMES NOW!" You heard your sister yell as both of you looked at each other. "Oh boy...let's just give your sister what she wants. Let's go."
