Excitement. That was the only word Sayuri could use as she put on her uniform. She was never one to be nervous, but tonight was a different story. She traced her eyes over the mirror, the grey fabric hung onto her body like a glove, the only detail that showed her bending style being the blue fabric around her waist and on top of the helmet. After taking in her image one more time she turned to her teammates .Smiles were plastered on top of all their faces, tonight was going to mark a new beginning and an old ending to their lives. It will be the last match the Cat-gators are going to play and they have to make sure it's gonna be remembered through generations.

"Are we ready to win this?" Yuki , the firebender of their team asked excitedly. She was a tall girl with short black hair that framed her slender face beautifully. Her energy matched her element perfectly. The firebender could light any room she stepped foot in and without even wanting she turned every head in a 5 mile radius.

"Be sure we are!" responded Kaira, the team's earthbender. She was the shortest amongst the three girls but the feistiest. Her curves made the probending uniform look as if it belonged in a small butique if it weren't for the helmets. Helmet that crushed her beautiful long almost reddish brown curls. If you saw her outside the ring you wouldn't guess she was a pro-bender. The girl was always dressed in dressed and looked like a living doll.

"let's do it" said Yuri lastly almost half heartedly. She was ready to win this but it was a bittersweet sadness hanging in the air. They spent the whole year working as a team fighting togheter as one and now it will all be gone. Each one of the teammates had various visions for the future and pro-bending was not included in any of them, but they will shelter the memories they've created for a long time, and even though living very different lives they all knew they could be there for one another.

With one last group hug they were ready, ready to fight ,ready to win and so they did, with the fastest knock out the arena has seen until then. The three 17 year olds will be remembered by the public as a force to be reckoned with , but most importantly they will be remembered by one another as the ones that could do anything if they put their minds to it.

Yuri and Korra were sat on the roof of the balcony listening intently to the match on the radio. The avatar was longingly looking at the arena imagining the match as it was described but Sayuri's gaze hit nowhere, she was looking at nothing in particular, caught in her own mind reminiscing of the excitement she felt while fighting on the platform with her friends. It was a feeling hard to describe. The girls were soon brought out of their thoughts as the radio was shut down right before the finishing punches were to be thrown.

"Korra come down here please" Tenzin said with a stoic tone.

Korra sighed and let her head hung down to look at her airbending master upside down. Her actions got a chuckle out of Yuri, chuckle that revealed her presence on the roof. Tenzin sighed almost disappointed realizing that training the avatar with his eldest daughter present will be more challenging than he thought. The young woman had a will as strong as diamond that could not be moved and when she wanted something, she did everything in her power to get it. He was proud of her for that, but right now it was going to make getting through the avatar ten times harder if Yuri fed into her defiance.

"Sayuri you too" said Tenzin almost desperate to get the two girls down.

"You shut it off at the best part" exclaimed Korra as she got onto the balcony followed by Yuri that was completely amused by the situation. Tenzin was clearly on his last nerve, the frowned expression on her father's face just made the waterbender more amused as he was supposed to be "mister calm and peace".
