"Heyy,Taehyung!! can you help me??" a familiar voice called out.
I turned my face, expecting it to be one of the crew members or maybe even the director. But my eyes widened in surprise as I saw Jungkook standing there, with the same elderly woman.
"W-what happens?" my voice trembled, and I couldn't believe it. Why was my voice trembling?!
Jungkook's expression was serious. "Actually, this auntie was crossing the road and almost about to fell. When I went to help her, she said her head was spinning. I'm trying to take her to the hospital, but my car won't start. Can you please take her there?"
I was taken aback. Jungkook, the same person I had been arguing with just hours before, was standing in front of me, looking concerned and...and...kind.
"Y-yes, of course," I stuttered, trying to compose myself. "I'll take her to the hospital."
What was going on? This wasn't the Jungkook I thought I knew...
As we helped the elderly lady into my car, Jungkook gently guided her into the passenger seat, making sure she was comfortable and secure. I started the engine, and Jungkook got in beside her, holding her hand and speaking softly to reassure her.
"Let's get you to the hospital, okay? You'll be fine," he said, his voice gentle and kind.
I glanced in the rearview mirror, watching as Jungkook carefully checked the lady's pulse and monitored her condition. He met my gaze, and for a moment, we just looked at each other.
"Turn left up ahead," he instructed, his voice firm but calm. "The hospital is just a few blocks away."
I nodded, following his directions as we navigated through the traffic. Jungkook continued to tend to the lady, talking to her and keeping her calm.
As we arrived at the hospital, Jungkook quickly jumped out and helped the lady out of the car, supporting her as we rushed her into the emergency room.
Together, we explained the situation to the medical staff, and they quickly took her in for treatment. Jungkook and I stood outside the ER, waiting for news.
For a moment, we just stood there, not saying a word. But then Jungkook turned to me, his expression softening.
"Thanks, Taehyung," he said, his voice sincere. "I couldn't have done it without your help."
I nodded, feeling a strange sense of camaraderie with him. "No problem," I replied, my voice a little softer than usual. "You're so kind, Jungkook," my voice filled with genuine astonishment.
Jungkook shrugged, his expression humble. "It's everyone's duty as a human. I just did what needed to be done."
I couldn't believe what he was seeing or hearing. Jungkook, the person he had always thought was so arrogant and self-centred, was showing a completely different side.
"I...can't believe what I'm seeing or hearing from you," I stuttered. "You're just the opposite of what I thought you were."
A small chuckle escaped from my lips as i struggled to process this new information.
Jungkook's eyes softened, and he looked away, his voice tinged with regret. "I'm sorry, Taehyung. I'm always being so rude to you, but...I guess you was too stubborn."
My expression turned somber, and he nodded in agreement. "I'm sorry too, Jungkook. My behavior towards you was uncalled for. I'm really sorry for the morning, I was too much.. please forgive me. I regret for that."
