Dust was not a fan of cleaning the enclosures. 'At least they don't poop,' thought Dust. He cleaned out old bedding and replaced damaged things. Dust had just finished cleaning a corny's enclosure and was moving on. He noticed a door labeled 'warning: unusual bitty' and was also marked for cleaning. 'Might as well clean it,' he thought. He walked in a froze.
The walls were covered in blood and dust and the door was gone. He saw shadows shifting closer and began hyperventilating. He tried to remember the breathing exercise Nightmare had taught him. He noticed that the world looked strange and used blue magic. The room now had a sand floor, clean walls, and some rocks, a log, and a pool. He saw a single bitty pinned with his blue magic. It had strange shifting colors on it's tail, magic emanating from them, and hissing lightly. They were a decent bit larger than a normal bitty.
He walked over to a clipboard on the wall and read it.
Hallucination
Species: Experiment/unknown
Bio: Found in a lab. Was an illegal experiment. Has the ability to create illusions and use a sort of hypnosis
Warning: has mild venom that induce nightmares and often casts illusions to scare people
"Don't do that kid, I could've really hurt you." Said Dust. "I'm not a kid!" Exclaimed the lamia. Dust released the bitty from his blue magic and continued to clean out the cage. He saw Hallucination sulking in a corner as he left. After he exited, Tina ran up. "Don't clean in there! That's Hallucinations enclosure." She said. "I saw. I cleaned it." Dust said. "He didn't cause any issues?" She asked. "He made a pretty freaky illusion, but I realized and caught him in blue magic. He's sulking now, but other than that, he's fine." He answered Tina.
A couple days later, Tina came up to Dust. "Excuse me, Dust, would you mind cleaning Hallucinations cage again? His illusions tend to cause issues." She said. "Fine." Said Dust and walked over to the cage. As he cleaned, Hallucination came and wrapped around his leg. "What are you doing?" He asked. "How were you able to figure out my illusions?" The bitty asked. "I see hallucinations sometimes and I managed to figure it out." Dust answered. Hallucination unwrapped from around his leg and slithered over to sit on a rock. Hallucination watched him as he cleaned.
Dust would typically clean Hallucination's cage every few days. After a cleaning couple times, he began visited when he wasn't cleaning the enclosure.
Dust was getting up to leave when Hallucination wouldn't uncurl from his shoulders. "Get down Hallucination." Said Dust. "No! Can't I come with you?" Said Hallucination. "I'll talk to the staff and the Boss and see if you can be my bitty, I guess." Said Dust. "Really?!" Exclaimed Hallucination. Dust nodded.
Dust and Nightmare got the paperwork and stuff done to adopt Hallucination. Due to Hallucination's abilities, they had to do a good bit of paperwork. Hallucination enjoyed riding on Dust's shoulders and trying to hide in his scarf.
