"Cross, come here." Said Tina. He walked over and she showed him the enclosures with the bitties he would help with. She showed him the clipboards with the bitties info and where the supplies was kept. Cross was helping care for 8 of the bitties. One had a a nasty scratch and another had a broken rib. He made sure to give medication and change bandages where needed. He walked over to the last enclosure. He checked the clipboard.
Albino
Species: Albino Swap Sans
Diagnosis: Sunburn, Blind
Bio: he escaped from the black market and suffered severe sunburn and blinding from a predator
Cross read the section on the health and got the cream for the sunburns and wounds over the bitty's eyes. "Hey, I'm just going to put cream on your sunburns and your scratches." Cross said. Albino stilled enough for Cross to apply the creams. "I'm impressed." Cross turned and saw Tina. "Albino is pretty untrusting." Said Tina.
Cross continued helping Tina with the various bitties. He was applying cream to Albino's burns when Albino quietly asked, "What does this place look like?" Cross did his best to describe the rescue. "Thanks." Albino said softly. Cross knew Albino was a quiet and shy bitty and was happy Albino trusted him.
"Hey Albino, today's the day we move you out of the medical area." Said Cross. "Oh," said Albino softly. "Something wrong?" Asked Cross. "C-can you come visit me?" The blind bitty asked nervously. "Of course." Said Cross and Albino gave a smile.
"Cross, can I talk to you?" Asked Tina. "Sure, what about?" He responded. "You were looking for a bitty to adopt, correct?" She asked. "Yeah." Said Cross. "Why don't you adopt Albino? Him being blind means it's harder to find a proper caretaker for him and I know you would do great." Tina said. "I'll think about it," Cross answered.
Over the next week, he thought about and talked about with Nightmare and Albino before deciding to adopt Albino. Albino normally stayed in Cross's room, but would sometimes ride in his scarf or hood.
