(Fei's POV)
It's a bit weird here. I've been here for a bit now. The stars are beautiful... Reminds me so much of Shen City. They're glistening in the blue and purple sky, I can see the clouds. I never thought I'd ever see something like this. My head leaning against the fence of the guardians' base. The sight has me pulled away.
My eyes feel heavy after a while. I don't know how long I've been out here by now. It's beautiful and I don't want to leave this calm area.
An soft blanket touching my back and shoulders breaks me from my thoughts. "It gets cold up here." I look to the guardian. It was the one I knew well. R̶̈́̄̑̀͑ͅě̸̺̺̆̓͗d̴̘̖̹̈͒â̶̡̻͇̣̽c̶͙̟̐̓̌͜͝ṫ̴̹̣̍̀͘e̷̡͚̺̭̖̓̿̀d̴̛̗̳̟͓. "It's colder up here then down there you know." I nod as they lean over the fence. "Thank you ████ it really means a lot." I say gazing up at the stars. "Eh... knights' duty, and… it's better if we stick together." Their point wasn't wrong. Master Tao would be happy if he knew his disciples were getting along.. thinking of him brings a few tears to my eyes.
"Fei... Don't be scared to cry. This is a big change for you and Mei I'm sure. You both just left the home you knew the entire city you knew... And his… I'm sorry." I could hear the knight stutter and fumble over their words. "Don't worry about me █████ I'll be alright." I say looking over, I see the dumb yet familiar smile slightly show on their face. "I can't help but worry. I know it wasn't easy for me when I first…" They suddenly paused. The smile was gone and replaced with a small frown. "████?" I call their name. "O-Oh... Hehe…" I hear her nervously laugh. I'm a confused and worried. "Sorry. Zoned out for a second." ████ stressed. "All I was saying is you may want to take it easy for a bit. Moving like this tends to mess with a few things." They say as a warning, I brush it off "I'll be fine ████. Just breath. Everything going to alright." I say as a response. They don't have a hopeful face.
"Just be careful." I nod. It was so relaxing out here. R̶̈́̄̑̀͑ͅě̸̺̺̆̓͗d̴̘̖̹̈͒â̶̡̻͇̣̽c̶͙̟̐̓̌͜͝ṫ̴̹̣̍̀͘e̷̡͚̺̭̖̓̿̀d̴̛̗̳̟͓ had relaxed a bit too.
We spent the rest of the night till the early morning star glazing and talking. It was lovely.
