Sarada's pov:
Finally just finally I was going out in 6 months, the last time I was out was my own wedding at the church surrounded by thousands of people. But now I could finally enjoy a bit. Yay!
Oops I forgot to tell ya'll about my dramatic marriage and our starting days of this toxic relationship right, Well you see It started when.......
Flashback
The day of our wedding was a grand affair, marked by opulence and extravagance befitting our status as heirs to two of the most prestigious families in the city. The marriage halls were adorned with intricate floral arrangements and shimmering chandeliers, casting a warm golden glow over the proceedings.
As I made my grand entrance, draped in a resplendent gown that shimmered with a thousand crystals, I couldn't help but feel a sense of trepidation and uncertainty gnawing at the edges of my composure. This was it-the moment that would irrevocably alter the course of my life, binding me to a man I barely knew and a future that seemed uncertain at best.
But as I walked down the aisle, flanked by my father and surrounded by the murmurs of the assembled guests, I couldn't help but steel myself against the doubts and fears that threatened to overwhelm me. This was my mother's wish, her final request before she passed away, and I would honor her memory by fulfilling it, no matter the cost.
On the other side of the hall, Boruto stood waiting, resplendent in his tailored suit and stoic demeanor. His gaze met mine as I approached, and for a fleeting moment, I caught a glimpse of something raw and vulnerable lurking beneath the mask of indifference that he wore so well.
Author's pov :
"Do you, Uchiha Sarada, take Uzumaki Boruto to be your lawfully wedded husband?" the officiant asked.
Sarada glanced at Boruto, her expression a mix of determination and uncertainty. "I do," she replied, her voice steady yet tinged with hesitation.
"And do you, Uzumaki Boruto, take Uchiha Sarada to be your lawfully wedded wife?"
Boruto's gaze met Sarada's, a flicker of something unreadable passing between them. "I do," he answered, his voice firm yet tinged with a hint of resignation.
When the time came for the traditional kiss, the officiant prompted them to share their first kiss as husband and wife, Boruto and Sarada exchanged a hesitant glance, their nerves palpable in the charged atmosphere of the wedding hall. With a determined expression, Boruto rested his hands on Sarada's waist, pulling her gently towards him.
Their movements were choreographed, yet tinged with uncertainty, as they leaned in towards each other. Despite their close proximity, their lips hovered just shy of touching, the space between them filled with unspoken tension.
With a subtle shift of their bodies, they maintained the illusion of intimacy, their gestures carefully calculated to appease the expectant crowd. And as they held their pose, their eyes met in a silent agreement, acknowledging the absurdity of the situation.
For a brief moment, time seemed to stand still as they maintained the charade, their hands pressed against each other's sides, their breaths mingling in the space between them. And then, with a soft murmur from the officiant, they pulled away, the illusion of their kiss complete.
Amidst the applause and cheers of their guests, Boruto and Sarada exchanged a knowing look, a silent understanding passing between them. It was a moment they would both remember-a comical yet strangely poignant display of their complicated relationship, played out for all to see.
