Day 3 at the resort
BORUTO'S POV
The sun beat down mercilessly as Sarada and I lounged by the swimming pool at the resort, seeking refuge from the heat in the cool, crystal-clear water. Sarada looked radiant in her summer dress, the vibrant colors accentuating her beauty and drawing admiring glances from passersby.
As we relaxed in the chairs, a man in his twenties approached us, he was my Math teacher in High School, I wouldn't say I liked him as my teacher, he was a pervert.
"Hey Boruto....." Sensei shouted from a far.
As Takahashi-sensei approached us, I couldn't shake the feeling of unease that settled over me. Sarada's smile was warm and welcoming, but there was something in the way Takahashi-sensei looked at her that set my teeth on edge.
I held Sarada's hand tightly, my grip firm and possessive as if silently declaring to the world that she was mine. "Hey, Takahashi-sensei," I greeted with a polite nod, my voice tinged with a hint of wariness.
Takahashi-sensei's eyes flickered between us, his gaze lingering on Sarada for a moment longer than necessary. "Boruto, what a pleasant surprise.......well who is this pretty lady hnn?," he exclaimed, his tone a little too friendly for my liking.
I wrapped my arm around Sarada's waist protectively, pulling her close to me as if shielding her from any potential threat. "This is my wife, Sarada," I introduced firmly, my tone leaving no room for misinterpretation.
Sarada leaned into my embrace, her presence a reassuring anchor amidst the storm of uncertainty swirling around us. "Nice to meet you sir, I'm Sarada Uch--Uzumaki" she added with a smile, her voice warm and friendly.
What Uzumaki??? I was shocked she addressed herself as Uzumaki instead of her last name she used mine like many women after marriages do.
Takahashi sensei and I had a forced conversation ofc I didn't wanted to continue when his bloody eyes glaced at my wife every now and then. I'd kill him later I swear.
I turned to my wife when sensei got a call, shit thanks God , some person called him, I hope he leaves without bothering us.
I could feel her, stressed as she was an introvert who barely went out of her house, and I swear everyone would be uncomfortable if a person they just met keeps talking without a break.
"You okay?" I murmured, my voice low and filled with concern as I felt her tension beneath my touch.
Sarada nodded, offering me a reassuring smile that did little to ease my growing unease. "I'm fine," she replied softly, squeezing my hand gently in return.
But despite her reassurances, I couldn't shake the feeling of insecurity that gnawed at my insides. "You sure?" I persisted, my gaze never leaving Takahashi-sensei as I kept a watchful eye on any potential threat to my wife.
As we bid Takahashi-sensei farewell and returned to our room, Sarada couldn't resist teasing me about my behavior. "Why were you so touchy-feely with me in front of Takahashi-sensei?" she teased, a playful glint in her eyes.
I shrugged nonchalantly, but inside, I felt a surge of insecurity at the thought of losing Sarada to someone else. "Just making sure everyone knows you're mine," I replied, my voice tinged with possessiveness. I settled onto the couch and she stood there.
"What is that? I'm yours??? You're acting like a husband....Really?" She teased sitting on my lap facing me by her side, she arms wrapped around my neck.
"You're my wife, and you belong to me and me only...like it or not" I pouted, I don't why but I did.
Sarada laughed at my response, her laughter like music to my ears as it eased the tension that had been building inside me. "You don't have to worry about that honey " she reassured me, reaching out to my hairs playing with it, I could bet she loved my blonde hairs the way she touched it. "I'm all yours, hubby."
