Alpha's Bid part 19

Apparently, this is it... this journey has come to an end. I feel so emotional about these two and I can't believe they have reached their destination. I will miss them so much and I am so glad I was part of this adventure they shared. I hope they have a happy family life and that they always support each other. To all of you who stayed with me on this journey, I want to hug you and thank you personally for reading and sticking with the story until the very end. I am truly grateful and I hope my next story will be half as good as this was. Thank you, I love you all. 

Kinn

On the way to the hospital for the ultrasound appointment, Kinn made his case for turning the room across from his, which was one of his omega's, to the baby's bedroom. In the end, Porsche agreed to turn his initial room into the baby room after Kinn masterfully convinced him that this was the best setup for the three of them. "And the doors will stay open at all times so we can hear all the sounds; we will also install a camera and a screen in our room. And we can have a temporary crib in our room until the baby can sleep on his own."

"I don't know... but I guess the baby needs a room and I want to be close to it as well. Okay, I guess we can have that. It should be okay." Kinn kissed the omega's hand as they were driving to the doctor's office.

"Hello gentlemen. Ready to see the baby? Let me know if you also want to find out the baby's gender. I know you were reluctant the last time."

"Should we, Porsche?" The alpha carefully asked his lover.

"Definitely! I want to know what we should call our sprout, think of names, and make plans. Also, aren't you curious about it too? You've been pestering me the last month about it." Kinn blushed at the insinuation Porsche made. Indeed, he was popping the question every time he talked to the baby. But Porsche started to get annoyed and as he was oversensitive and had multiple mood swings, he smacked him upside the head once and Kinn stopped asking about it from then on.

"Okay, then let's see what we have here. The baby looks good, and it's a boy!! Do you want to hear the heartbeat again?"

Porsche and Kinn nodded feverishly, and the doctor turned on the sound and soon enough, the sound of a heartbeat started to fill the small space of the office. But the doctor frowned, and the couple picked it up. What could be wrong? They have heard the baby's heart before, and there wasn't an issue with it.

"Is everything all right?" the alpha asked, concerned.

"Hmmm, let me get the other scanner. It might be nothing but let's make sure. Maybe my senses are getting rusty. She called for someone to bring the full scanner to the room, which was like an enormous screen that had a semi-cylinder shape that could showcase everything going on in the belly. The machine was connected to a bigger flat screen that showed all the details. "The doctor explained how it worked and then turned it on.

She pushed some buttons, and it started making a faint buzzing sound. Then an image appeared, which Porsche or Kinn couldn't decipher.

"How did I miss this? Okay, let's see. I am going to push on your belly a bit, okay?"

"Y..yeah...." The omegas tensed. She pushed a little to the side of his belly and her eyes scanned seriously at the image. Her assistant took notes and pictures of certain areas.

"Is everything okay with our baby?" Kinn held his breath for the entire time. They didn't need more problems after all they had been through.

"Yeah, there is another baby; it was right behind his brother, and it's smaller. I wanted to see if there was some sort of conjoining, but it seems they are separated. Still, we have to observe them more closely since the second one is smaller than the other. But his vitals are good and he is developing well too, but we need to increase your nutritional intake because the nutrients were just for one baby, even if I gave you more because of your condition. I saw something at the beginning of the pregnancy, but then it looked absorbed when the embryo formed, so I am not exactly sure how the second one appeared again. But let me tell you, you have been full of surprises since we've met, so I am not that shocked."
