Chapter 11

((AN: when Suzy and Bobby are doing the interview it's not going to be normal conversation Bobby will be BB and Suzy will be SR. If Brantley is asked a question, it'll be BG.))
I wake up with a soft groan and someone's hand rubbing my back lightly. I hear a deep chuckle and feel someone kiss my head. I look up and see B smiling sleepily down at me. I sigh and snuggle back into his chest making him chuckle again. I feel his grip tighten around me and his lips kiss the top of my head again. There's a loud knock on the hotel door, making us sigh. B growls and reluctantly slips out of bed throwing on boxers. I hear him talking to someone but can't make out who it is. I snuggle into his pillow and doze off again sleeping for a few more hours.
"Doll." I hear B say gently shaking me awake.
"Go away!" I sleepily grumble pulling the blankets over my head.
"Come on Babygirl we got to get you up and dressed for your interview with Bobby." He chuckles pulling the blankets back down.
"Ugh fine!" I grumble and sit up.
"Dress, or no?" He asks me as he hands me coffee.
"Could I get away with wearing a blouse and jeans?" I ask him sipping on my drink.
"Yeah, let me go grab your bag for you." He says and places a kiss on my head before leaving the bedroom.
I sigh and stretch out but the moment I do I get nauseous and bolt to the bathroom to puke. B runs in after me and holds my hair back and rubs my back. I whimper softly and lean into his side after I'm done. He helps me up and passes me my toothbrush and toothpaste before leaving me to brush my teeth. I sigh softly leaning on the counter with my head hanging before brushing my teeth. I go to the room and find some clothes and get dressed. When I walk out wearing this his jaw drops.

"Damn woman." He says checking me out.
"Too much?" I ask looking at him.
"Not at all." He says and walks over kissing me softly.
"Make up then I'll be ready. I'm just doing something light." I reply.
"Alright hurry up Babygirl because I don't want to be late." He sighs.
"I know, I know!" I call from the bathroom.
"We ready?" He asks me when I come out twenty minutes later.
"Yeah, let's go." I say grabbing my phone and purse.
Pj is driving us to the radio station for the interview, meanwhile I'm nervous as all hell and bouncing my knee the whole way there. B has to rest his hand on my leg to get me to stop and I give him a sheepish smile. I pull out my phone looking at the calendar and I sigh softly to myself before texting Caroline. She immediately responds and says she'll meet up with us for a late lunch. I scoot over to B and sigh softly resting my head on his shoulder.
"You ok Doll?" He asks squeezing my knee.
"I don't know. I woke up nauseous and the nerves don't help me." I reply.
"Are you sure you are ok?" He asks concerned.
"I'm sure I'm fine. Oh, Caroline and Luke are meeting us at his bar for a late lunch." I inform him.
"Alright, listen take a deep breath I'm right here and I ain't going anywhere." He responds.
"I know I'm just nervous." I sigh.
"Lil bit you'll be fine. I'll be in the background and boss will be with you." PJ says looking at me through the rear view mirror.
"I know I'm just still nervous." I reply looking up at him.
"Doll you'll be fine." He reassures me for the millionth time.
"Alright let's get in there and do this thing." I say taking a deep breath as we pull in.
B slides out and helps me out before walking in with his hand on the small of my back. PJ walks ahead of us and opens the doors for us. Once we get in there we are seated and given headphones.
BB: Welcome to WSIX-FM I'm Bobby Bones and we have a special guest with me today. Suzy Ray how are you and BG here doing?
SR: Hey Bobby were good. Excited as hell but so nervous for Tomorrow night.
BB: That's the album drop correct?
SR: yes sir. And there was a few last minute additions to the album but the fans will have to wait and see.
BB: so BG how's it going with you. I know this is about your woman today but you're here. So if I may why?
BG:Well we all know Doll is nervous so I told her that I'd be here the whole time and PJ said he was standing in the back for support.
BB: how sweet of you man. So Suzy is there a tour this year for you?
SR: Actually yeah but I can't give details just yet.
BB:Oh come on why not.
SR: I don't even know much yet man. All I know is it's gonna be awesome and there are some great guys on this tour.
BB:BG you aren't worried about the tour?
BG: Nah man I trust my girl but I also trust the guys on the tour. I know that these men will protect her with their lives. They think of her as a little sister.
SR: yeah and they also know that you will go to jail for me if someone hurt me. And I'm pretty sure these guys would be sitting right next to you.
BG: Yeah they would be *he chuckles*
BB: So I know you two aren't on social media a lot but you guys are being called the new power couple.
SR: Actualy more like pain in the ass couple.
PJ: Nothing truer.
BG:PJ man your supposed to be on my side .
BB:*laughs* So what your saying is he's a pain in the ass.
SR: No I will admit that we both are but That's why we get along well. I love this man with all my heart and he knows it but he also knows what buttons to push that tick me off. And yes I do the same to him
BG: Yeah you do and the worse is the sneakily paying for things.
BB: oh man I gotta hear this but before we do why don't we take a quick break.
When he says that I get up and head to the bathrooms quickly. PJ and B are hot on my heals, as we make it to the bathroom B follows me inside. He holds my hair back as I puke.
"Doll are you sure you're ok?" He asks me worried.
"I'm not sure but I might be pregnant." I say softly.
"What do you mean?" He asks confused.
"I mean I'm late and this is the second time I've puked. Plus yes I have an iud but that doesn't prevent pregnancies. Also we haven't been careful." I say and then puke again.
"Doll are you sure?" He asks once im done puking.
"No but Caroline and I are gonna go to the bathroom sometime and I'm taking tests. I asked her to get me some bc I'm scared to." I say leaning on him.
"Ok we'll all go back to the hotel because she told Luke for sure and then we can do it together and tell them." He says holding me close.
"You're not upset that I went behind your back?" I ask.
"A little but you're scared and i get that." He says.
"Guys we need to get back in there." PJ says from outside.
"You gonna be ok?" B asks me.
"If I can have a sprite." I say softly.
"I'll have PJ make a run for you." He says helping me up and walking out with me.
"You ok?" PJ asks.
"Later we'll explain but right now she wants sprite, ginger ale and probably some crackers." B says to PJ.
"I'll be quick." PJ says and kisses my forehead.
"Thanks giant." I say smiling at him.
"Of course little bit." He says and then leaves.
"Alright let's go." B says and guides me back to the room.
BB: You ok and wheres PJ?
SR: yeah just nerves and my stomach has been acting up. He went to get me some crackers and ginger ale.
BB: You ok to keep going with the interview?
BG: Yeah we're good.
BB: Alright welcome back. Now you were saying something earlier about her sneaking in her card to pay for things?
BG: *laughs* Yeah doll here given the chance will sneak her card to the server or wait staff at dinner just to pay before me. Or she'll slip in front of me and pay for stuff.
BB: Is it anything specific or no.
SR: Nope I just do it because it pisses him off.
BB: *Laughs* Well aren't you a spitfire.
BG: Actually I think Jason calls her firecracker and it's true. I've seen her eartug Luke like his momma does and oh man.
BB: So she the mother of the group then
BG: She can be but she is a hand full.
BB: so Suzy is there something you would like to say about this man of yours.
SR: Oh yeah there is and I promise it's not bad.
BG: Good lawrd help me.
SR: B I promise it aint bad.
BB: Alright the floor is yours.
SR: So I want all the woman to know that they will find their man but when the time is right. When we met I was so dead set on not being in a relationship with anyone especially with B. But God had other plans for us. I literally tripped into his life and everything just kinda happened from there.
BB: Damn woman, Alright so on album news. Tomorrow is the release date and your going to be at Luke's bar doing the release. What songs are you planning on singing?
SR: That's for me to know and yall to find out. I'm not spilling anything at all.
BG: She won't even tell me which ones she is doing.
BB: Alright well imma let you guys go and thank you for talking with me. We will see you tomorrow night at Luke's bar.
BG&SR: Thanks for having us.
We leave and PJ nods to B silently letting him know that it's in the car. When we get in B makes me eat some crackers and drink some of the ginger ale. I lean on him the whole time we are driving to Luke's bar. When we get out Caroline and Luke are waiting at the back door. PJ opens our door and B helps me out.
"Hey hun how are feeling?" Luke asks hugging me lightly.
"Okay just a little nauseous." I say softly.
"So you wanna do the thing now or wait?" Car asks.
"He knows that I messaged you and about what. We're gonna eat then go to the hotel room and do it there. And yes you guys are coming with." I say.
"You sure?" Luke asks.
"Luke you've been my best friend since you two met plus she is my cousin. I need my family there." I say softly about to cry.
"Ok we'll be there." Car says hugging me.
"Doll lets go eat that might help you." B says guiding us inside the bar.
I stick close to B and PJ like its a security blanket for me. I hear Luke say something to Caroline who giggles at it. We get a table and place our drink orders with our waitress Sage. I'm sat between PJ and B but Caroline can't stop giggling at us.
"What is so funny woman." I say looking at her.
"You three! Those two follow you around like a lost puppy but you're only dating one of them." She giggles.
"Car it's called over protective body guards." I joke making Luke and PJ laugh.
"Really doll." B scowls at me shaking his head.
"You love me outlaw." I smile and tug him down for a kiss which he returns.
"Yeah I do." He smiles at me and kisses me again making me giggle.
"Here are the drinks and are we ready to order?" Our waitress Sage asks.
"Yeah we'll take our regulars hun." Luke says passing her their menus.
"Of course boss. And you guys?" She asks.
"I'll have the chicken tenders with tots and honey mustard." I say and pass my menu back.
"I'll have a bacon cheese burger with tots." PJ says.
"I'll do that with fries." B says gesturing to PJ.
"Alright three bacon burgers with fries. One with tots and tender with tots and honey mustard." She says confirming the order.
"Yep." Luke says.
"Cool I'll put that in and if you need anything boss let me know." She says walking away.
"I will Sage." He says and turns back to us.
"So boss what's going on?" PJ asks and looks between us.
"I think I'm pregnant. I've been nauseous all day and I'm two weeks late." I say softly looking into my lap.
"Wait seriously?! I mean thats great if you guys want that but also your just starting with singing. What are you gonna do?" He asks.
"I don't fucking know PJ. Right now I'm scared shitless and worried my parents are gonna hate me!" I say starting to cry.
"Come here babygirl." B sighs and wraps his arms around me tightly.
"I'm sorry boss." PJ says feeling bad.
"It's okay PJ I know you ment well." I sniffle into B.
"Doll, let's take it a step at a time. First let's check and if we are then the doctors appointment is the next step. Just breath I'm right here." B says softly and I nod into his chest.
"So who is she touring with?" Luke asks trying to change the subject.
"Me, Justin and Thomas Rhett. She is opening for us." B says and let's me go as I sit up.
"That's awesome!" Luke says.
"You can't say anything about what we talk about today." I say looking at Luke.
"I won't I promise." He says.
"And if I am in waiting till I'm safe to say something to the fans." I say looking at them all.
"I'm fine with that Doll." B says kissing me softly.
"Dude PDA!" Luke teases which makes B kiss me again making me moan softly.
"Boss, I have to hear you two please dont." PJ grumbles rubbing his face.
"Fuck off man." B grumbles against my lips.
"B my foods here I'd like to try and eat please." I giggle and peck his lips before pulling away making him huff and scowl.
"You can have more kisses later." I laugh and nibble on my food.
"Anything else I can get you guys?" Sage asks.
"Nope thanks hun." Caroline says.
"So when do you think the tour will start?" Luke asks.
"Well I'm not sure when the tour will start." B says.
"Wouldn't it be the second half of the tour?" PJ asks.
"Yeah but this is a surprise to the fans. They don't know she is touring with us this half." B says.
"Fair enough." Luke says as he attacks his food.
"You know for someone who is over protective of me you didn't do much to keep us apart." I say making everyone laugh.
"Girl he wouldnt agree to it but I was the one who pushed you together and kept him away." Caroline says.
"I don't wanna know what you had to do car!" I snort shaking my head.
"Oh no you don't but let's just say we had lots of fun!" Car laughs.
"Caroline Bryan! I didn't wanna know woman!" I yelp and hide my face.
"I have to hear you two most nights so hush woman." PJ says laughing.
"No one told you to get the room next to us!" I say pushing him playfully.
"Doll no one told you to be loud either." B retorts.
"Oh really. So you don't want me to be loud. Ok I'll be quite from now on." I smirk looking at him.
"Doll that's not what I said." He shakes his head.
"Oh thats what you meant." I say and eat my food.
We finish eating then head out to go back to the hotel. Caroline hands me the box of pregnancy tests. B and I head to he bathroom and I take the tests before setting them on the counter and hide in his chest. After a few minutes he shifts and looks at them.
"What do they say?" I ask afraid to look at them.
"We're pregnant." He says softly tightening his grip on me.
"Oh shit!" I whisper and start to cry.
"It's ok I'm right here baby." He soothes me.
"I'm sorry!" I sob into his chest.
"Hey what do you have to be sorry for. We fucked around and found out ok? We will get through this together." He says holding me.
"People are gonna say I trapped you because of this pregancy." I say looking at him with a tear soaked face.
"No you didn't ok. We weren't cautious about sex. It was a mutual fuck up but we will handle it like adults. As much as I love you ill be here. I may fuck up but I'll be here." He says wiping away my tears.
"I'm sorry. I'm so emotional." I say burying my face in his chest.
"It's the hormones it's okay Doll." He says holding me.
"Can I go lay down?" I ask softly not wanting them to see me like this.
"Yeah if you want I can tell them and then kick them out saying you want rest because your overwhelmed." He suggests.
"That would be a good idea." I say softly.
"Go lay down I got this." He says and taps my ass as I walk away.
A few minutes later I hear him come in and undress. I roll over to look at him and he nods but crawls in bed with me wrapping me in his arms. I sniffle and bury my face in his chest while he tightly holds me. I wake up a few hours later not realizing I fell asleep in his arms. I smile to myself and rest my hand on my still flat stomach. I hear him stir and grumble awake next to me.
"Hey Doll." He mumbles sleepily.
"Hi baby." I yawn and shift sitting against the head board.
"Feeling better?" He asks sitting up next to me.
"Sorta." I sigh looking at my hands in my lap.
"What going on in your head?" He asks placing a hand on mine.
"I'm scared shitless being pregnant." I say.
"You and me both baby." He says softly.
"Can we stay in?" I ask him as I shift so im leaning on his chest.
"Yeah we can. I'll order room service and you pick out a movie. What are you and peanut wanting?" He asks rubbing my stomach.
"Nachos." I smile up at him
"Then you shall have them." He chuckles and kisses me before getting up.
"Thank-" I get cut off and bolt to the bathroom throwing up.
"I got you." He whispers holding my hair back as he rubs my back.
"I just want to relax." I whine.
"I know baby." He sighs and helps me up.
"Imma wash my mouth out and go lay down." I sigh and he kisses my head.
"I'll go get the food ordered." He says stepping out of the bathroom.
I rinse out my mouth and then go to the bedroom and lay down. Im skimming through the tv looking at movies when B comes back in and lays his head in my lap. I look down at him and he kisses my stomach softly. I giggle and run my hand over his buzzed head knocking his hat off which makes him scowl at me playfully. I smile shaking my heat at him. He grins up at me and kisses my hand before turning back to my stomach whispering to it. I find a movie just as there's a knock on the door, so B goes and answers it. He comes back in with the cart of food and hands me my plate of nachos.
"Thank you baby." I smile at him.
"Of course anything for you and peanut." He says and pecks my lips
We start the movie and eat our food. Half way through the movie I feel a sharp pain and whimper softly. B looks over concerned and notices I'm bleeding. I look at him with tears in my eyes and he jumps up getting dressed. He calls Pj and gets me dressed I'm loose clothes.
"Come one babygirl we gotta get you to the hospital." He says his voice full of emotion.
"B I'm scared." I whimper.
"I know baby I know." B says picking me up.
"Boss cars ready let's go." PJ calls from the door.
"Coming! grab our phones and her purse. I got my wallet in my jeans." B calls and runs my out the door and to the elevator with PJ hot on our heels.
"Whats going on boss?" PJ asks him when we get to the elevator.
"B It hurts." I whimper.
"I think shes loosing the baby." He says and makes a beline for the door.
"Shit." PJ yelps and takes off to the hospital.
"B!" I cry and curl up into a ball.
"Im right here doll." He says holding me close.
"Quick my bosses wife is having a miscariage." Pj says to a charge nurse.
"Set her in the wheelchair and we'll get her back now. im making sure we get you a private room Mr.Gilbert." The nurse says as B sets me down.
"B! No i want you here." I cry out.
"I'm not leaving doll. PJ call luke and caroline." He says as the nurse takes us to our room.
"Sorry about that im sara your nurse and we need to do an ultra sound on momma ok?" she asks.
"Yeah go ahead." I sniffle and they immeditaely do an ultrasound and the nurse looks at us sadly.
"You are in the middle of miscarrying the baby but its not your fault sweety. the baby wasn't attached to the uteran wall properly and you would have lost it anyways." She explains.
"So your saying that it was bound to happen?" I ask softly.
"Yes and I'm going to say this but I'm not being insensitive because I've been in your shoes. Just be greatful it's happening at three weeks pregnant then six months. I lost my little boy at six months pregnant so I know how you are feeling." She says and hugs me.
"Thank you, can we have a minute?" B asks softly.
"Of course sir." She says and leaves.
"Doll." He says looking at me.
"I'm ok." I say as tears flow down my face.
"Come here." He sighs and climbs in next to me holding me.
"I lost our peanut." I sob clinging to him.
"We lost peanut. I told you I'm right here through it all." He says choking up.
"Boss, Luke and Caroline are here." PJ says
"Let 'em in." He whispers.
"Hey guys." Luke says as caroline comes over and hugs us both tightly.
"What happened?" She asks.
"Peanut wasn't properly attached to her uteran wall. The nurse said she had it happen to her and she lost her son at six months she also said she wishes she would have lost him early like we did because it's not as traumatic for us or her body." B says while holding me close.
"Jesus guys I'm sorry." Luke says.
"Can you have kerry call me please." I say softly.
"I'll call her now how about that lil bit." PJ says softly to me.
"Thanks giant." I sniffle and he steps out to call her.
"Hey guys sorry to interupt but the doctor wants to get Mrs. Gilbert some meds to help the pain." Sara says.
"Thanks Sara." B says and moves out of the bed so she can put an IV in my hand.
"B don't go." I whimper out.
"I'm right here I had to move so Sara can help with the pain baby." B says softly taking my other hand.
"Don't worry nothing will leave this hospital and your secret is safe here." She smiles softly at me beore leaving us alone.
"Why did she say wife? Y'all not tell us something?" Luke asks getting over protective.
"Luke it's nothing. PJ called her my wife when we rushed in here." B says.
"We're not married lukey" I say softly and yawn.
"Sleep Doll we'll be here when you get up." B says climbing back into the bed with me.
"Ok." I whimper and snuggle into his chest.
I wake up a few hours later and see kerry in the room. I sniffle softly and shift closer to B who chuckles softly.
"Hey doll. They said you are ok to go home but kerry wasn't sure if you were still down to do the album drop tomorrow." He says.
"Yeah I am but I'm not doing any jumping around or anything. I'll sing a few of the slower songs where I can sit down." I say softly.
"That's what I was thinking hun. Now let's get you back to the hotel room and rest for tomorrow." Kerry says.
"Hey family." Sara says knocking on the door.
"Hey Sara." I say softly.
"Alright your man signed you out so let's help you into the chair and wheel ya out. Now I know you got your album drop tomorrow so take it easy and no sex for a few days but when you take it easy." She says looking at B then back at me.
"Okay, again thank you for keeping this quiet." B says and helps me move to the chair.
"Of course we do it all the time. it's Nashville we got artists in here all the time especially Luke." She says making us all laugh.
"Mister accident prone." I tease him as Sara walks us out.
"Alright guys I hope we dont have to see you guys for a little while longer." She says and leaves us.
"See you're already getting back to your old self."Luke jokes.
"Not really but it's gonna take a bit of time and me working will help with that. I'm going to need all the help I can get. Especially trying to get back into my normal routine." I say getting into the car.
"And we will be right here for you." Kerry says.
"Can we go back to the hotel now B?" I ask softly.
"Of course. PJ lets go." B says and everyone disperses and leaves.
"Your phone and purse are on the floor next to you Doll." B says resting a hand on my leg.
"Thanks." I say softly and scoot away from him.
"Babygirl talk to me." He says softly and gently takes my chin in his hand.
"I don't wanna talk about it right now." I say softly with tears in my eyes.
"Oh Doll." He sighs and pulls me back into his chest.
"B." I cry into his chest while he rubs my back.
"I know doll I know." He whispers.
"I lost peanut." I sob over and over again.
"Shh." He coos and shifts me into his lap holding me tightly.
"We're back boss." PJ says softly.
"Come on Doll I'll carry you inside and we can curl up and finish the movie." He says softly.
I dont trust my voice so I just nod in agreement and B carries me up to our room.
"I had them change the sheets for us. Let's get you in the shower and cleaned up." He suggests.
"B. I'm sorry." I sniffle.
"It's not your fault we lost peanut." He says wiping away my tears.
"Not that, I got blood all over you." I whisper pulling on his shirt a little.
"It's not the first time and it won't be the last time I'm covered in blood." He says softly and helps me undress.
"Will you shower with me?" I ask him.
"Of course I can. Let's get you in first." He says and guides me into the shower before undressing and joining me.
"I love you." I sniffle and hug him tightly.
"Oh Doll I love you to." He whispers and rests his chin on my head.
"Honestly Sara was right ya know." I say softly against his chest
"About?" He asks.
"I dont know how I would have been able to handle loosing peanut at six months pregnant. After figuring out what peanuts gender would be I would have been so much more attached to it. Plus today we just found out so we didn't have a whole lot of time to register that we were gonna be parents. I'm upset more at the thought that I didnt get a chance to try to be a mom." I say.
"Doll I completely understand and if you want to sit here and mourn for long I get that to. But just know eventually we have to move on." He says.
"I know and I'm ok I think I just need to mourn today and then start new tomorrow." I say softly.
"I will be here to support you babygirl." He says.
"Thank you for being you." I smile and kiss him softly.
He kisses me back but pulls away after a few seconds and says "Lets gets cleaned up and curl up in bed."
"Ok." I yawn and let him help me shower.
"Boss I got the food you wanted me to grab." PJ hollars.
"Thanks man can you toss out the other food for me and then you are good to go." He calls back.
"Yeah man I'm on it." PJ replies and then leaves a few minutes later.
"What did you get?" i ask turning off the water.
"Well I knew our food would be bad so I had him get us new food." He says and helps me dry off.
"Oh. ok." I say and get dressed.
"You go laydown and restart the movie. I'm gonna get clothes on and grab our food." He says
"Ok. Can you bring me some soda?" I ask.
"I had Pj get that to. I kinda had him make a small list and get it when he dropped us off." He says throwing on boxers and a pair of sweats.
"You're the best." I smile and curl up in the bed.
He gets the food and drinks before crawling into bed and pulling me into his lap. I sit between his legs and eat while we watch movies till two in the morning. B shifts so were laying down and I'm laying on top of him. He kisses my head and we both doze off. I let out a softly growl when I get moved but fall back asleep snuggling into the pillows again. I wake up to the lights shining through the curtians and groan softly. I shift trying to get up but can't curtisy of B. I sigh and lift his arm off my waist and get out of bed to go to the bathroom. I sit in there for a while and don't notice B walk in and lean on the door frame.
"Hey Doll you doing ok this morning?" He asks moving over to me and kissing my head.
"Yeah just thinking. What woke you up?" I ask him looking up at him.
"You leaving the bed." He says rubbing my back.
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to wake you up." I say finishing up and moving to wash my hands.
"It's ok Doll." He says hugging me from behind.
"What time do we have to be at lukes?" I ask looking at him throught the mirror.
"Kerry said four so that they can announce you and everything and then do signings after your songs." He says resting his chin on my head.
"Ok that sounds good to me. It's what like ten in the morning?" I ask.
"Try one in the afternoon Babygirl." He chuckles.
"Oh shit." I laugh and turn around.
"It happens and after yesterday I knew you needed the extra sleep." He says and kisses me lightly.
"I fucking love you so much." I smile against his lips and kiss him again.
"I wish we could do things but you need to heal and that's ok." He says softly pulling away a little bit.
"I know I wish to but we can't. However when we can we aren't leaving the bed unless we have to." I giggle.
"Damn right we aren't." He laughs and pecks my lips.
"One thing though we're getting condoms because it's not that I dont want kids it's just I'm just getting started with this and I wanna wait a little bit before we try for kids." I say.
"I get that and I'm not pleased but I'll do it for you Doll." He says hugging me.
"I love you Brantley." I hum against his chest.
"I love you to Suzanna." He sighs and buries his face in my hair.
"We should probably get dressed and get something to eat before we have to go." I pout against him.
"Yeah lets go babygirl." He grumbles and lets me go.
We get dressed and have PJ meet us at the SUV. B opens the door for me before hopping in after me. He rests his hand on my leg and PJ starts the car.
"So what are we getting for food?" PJ and B ask simultaneously.
"Waffle house." I say grinning like a little kid.
"Waffle house it is lil bit." PJ laughs driving off.
"Haven't been there in a hot miute." I grin making them laugh.
"I think Doll is coming back to us." B laughs and smiles down at me.
"Watch it mister." I tease and kiss his cheek.
"Oh I'm so scared." He growls playfully smirking down at me.
"Would you two behave please." PJ complains from the drivers seat.
"You love us PJ." I laugh.
"You yes, Boss I tolerate." He jokes looking at us.
"PJ come on man!" B complains making us laugh.
"Hey I still love you baby." I giggle wrapping my arms around his arm.
"At least someone does." He jokes patting my leg.
"I'm kidding boss, you're family." PJ says chuckling at us.
"You better be." B jokes.
"So how are you feeling lil bit?" PJ asks me.
"I'm okay. Might be struggling a little but I got this. It's gonna take time." I say smiling softly at him through the mirror.
"And we're all here to help you and boss." He says.
PJ pulls into the Waffle house parking lot and I'm the first one out of the car. They laugh and hurry to my side. PJ holds the door open for us as B throws his arm over my shoulders. We find a seat and order food and drinks right away because we already know what we want. Our drinks are brought out and then our food moments later. The boys are talking about the tour, while I'm lost in my own head about tonight. I eat all my food and notice they are both looking at me like they are waiting for an answer about something.
"What?" I ask with my mouth full of fries.
"I asked if you were ready to go?" B asks laughing at me.
"Oh yeah." I respond after swallowing my fries.
"PJ paid the bill so I was just waiting on you." He says and slides out then turns and helps me out of the booth.
"Come on lets go get me ready for my show tonight." I smile and slip a hand in his back pocket as he throws his arm over my shoulders.
"Lets go get you changed." He agrees and kisses my head.
"Omg is that BG and Suzy ray!" I hear a squeal from our left.
"Omg it is!" Someone else replies.
"Omg hi I'm Maddie. I know your album drop is tonight and we're totally gonna be there but can we get a photo and autograph from you guys?" A young girl about eighteen with blonde hair.
"Of course sweetie!" I smile and sign the poster of BG she had before passing it to him.
"Omg I can't wait for the album drop." Her friend giggles.
"Alright ladies I hate to do this but we got to get them going." PJ says stepping over to us.
"Ok a quick photo then we have to leave." B says smiling at them and takes their phone.
"Omg you are the best. Thank you guys so much." Maddie says taking her phone back after he takes the photo.
"Of course we'll see you ladies tonight." I say and B guides me to the SUV.
"Bye thank you again guys." She says and they wave.
"Of course." B says and we leave to go to the hotel so I can change
"So lil bit how was your first fan experience?" PJ asks glancing at me.
"Holy fuck that was a lot." I laugh and lean into B's side.
"The first one it always the most random one and best one." B says looking at PJ.
"I remember you're first one boss." PJ laughs.
"Yeah lets not." B laughs shaking his head.
I smile and snuggle into his side as I watch the road go by. Before I know it we are pulling into the hotel and B pulls away just enough to get out but tucks me back into his side. I let out a squeal and he laughs planting a kiss on my head. We head up to our room and I get cleaned up and changed into a dress.

"Hey B can you get my black boots out of my bag and a pair of socks." I call from the bathroom.
"I'll set them on the bed." He calls back.
"Thank you B." I reply and finish my makeup.
"Almost ready Doll it's three thirty." B calls.
"Yeah." I respond and step out of the bathroom.
"Damn babygirl." B whispers and hugs me tightly.
"You like it?" I ask smiling up at him.
"I don't like it I love it sweetheart." He says smiling at me and pulls away to twirl me.
"B!" I squeal laughing as he does.
"Come on guys we have to go." PJ says walking in but stops, "Damn lil bit."
"Thanks PJ." I blush and slip on my socks and shoes.
"That looks really good on you." He complements me.
"She looks hot what are you talking about man." B whistles and smiles at me.
"Ok let's go I'm ready." I blush deeply.
"Alright." B says and places his hand on my lower back.
We leave and head to the bar meeting Luke and everyone there. B and I walk in and everyone stops and stares at us. There's a few cat calls coming from the bar but I ignore them. I feel him step a little closer to me as we make our way to the guys. The girls jump up and hug me giggling, they are clearly already a few drinks in. I am placed between B and Brittney who passes me a drink. I smile and take a sip of it before leaning into B more.
"Welcome everyone tonight we have some special guests but first let's get this party going!" The DJ says and starts up the music.
"Oh my god Caroline this our song!" Brittney squeals and she drags Caroline and me to the floor.
"Ah!" I giggle and dance with her as we sing along to the music.
"Oh shit." Caroline says softly and gently tugs me to the guys again.
"Caroline what?" I ask but look over my shoulder and stop dead in my tracks.
"Suzy." Hunter says softly.
"Hi Hunt." I mutter softly.
"Look I just wanted to say I'm sorry about everything." He says looking at his shoes.
"I already forgave you years ago. Plus I'm happy now." I say smiling softly and just then I feel two hands on my shoulders.
"Hunter." B says his voice dropping an octave.
"BG." Hunter mutters.
"Like I said Hunter I'm happy now." I say smiling and placing a hand on BGs.
"I know." He says and gulps when B steps around me.
"Hunter, I wanna thank you for letting this gorgeous woman go because of that she is here with me and I'm helping her with her dream so thank you." He says holding outhis hand to Hunter.
"Um you're welcome." He says confused but shakes his hand.
"B, baby let's go. I got to sing soon." I say gently tugging his free arm.
"See you later hunter." He grins and let's me drag him away.
"What the fuck was that!?" I yelp out once we're outside.
"Just being nice." He says lighting up a cigarette.
"No that was being a dick in a nice way." I scowl and gently hit his arm.
"You love me babygirl and don't lie it turned you on." He growls lowly and turns to me looking at me.
"No it didnt." I say trying to be stern.
"Bullshit babygirl." He smirks and dips down to kiss me.
"Not bullshit." I squeak out but subconsciously I let out a soft moan as he deepens the kiss a little.
"See told you." He whispers huskily.
"Ass." I whisper panting softly.
"You love me." He grins and pecks my lips before we head back inside.
"Girl we got to get you up on that stage." Kerry says and we head to the stage.
"Alright let me introduce you to Miss Suzy Ray." D says.
"Thanks D. Hey y'all whose ready for tonight?" I ask and the crowd screams,"So tonight I'm going to be doing a little bit of slow and fast songs for ya." I sing this is me and told you so then southern gentleman.
"So the next two songs are with two of my favorite men. Luke come on up cousin." I say and he jumps up and hugs me as the crowd cheers for him.
"Hey shorty." He teases me.
"You ready to sing?" I ask him playfully pushing him.
"Yes ma'am." He grins and we sing whiskey lullaby.
"Now my favorite man of all time BG." I say smiling making the crowd cheer.
"Hi doll." B says hugging me and then gets his mic.
"Hi b." I giggle and he kisses my cheek.
"Ready?" He asks and I nod to him.
"Lets do this." I smile and we sing picture.
When we finish I thank everyone and head to the group and get another drink. After a little bit they announce that I am doing autographs and photos. PJ, B and I follow kerry to the table they have set up for me. I sign and take so many photos that by the end of the night my cheeks hurt from smiling at fans. B and PJ take me back to the hotel and I change and pass out in bed. I don't even feel B get into bed with me that's how tired I was.
