Brantley pulls up to a small diner and hops out before turning to me and helping me out of the truck. I pass him his phone before he takes my hand and drags me into the diner. We sit down at a table and he wraps his arm around my shoulders. I'm replying to a text when I notice two other people slide into the booth across from us.
"B! Hey man been a minute." A guy says fist bumping B.
"Hey jack, Sarah how are you guys?" He asks.
"Good its been a minute." Sarah says smiling at him.
"Oh guys this is Suzy. Doll this is Jack and Sarah my best friends who got my through a lot of shit." He says smiling at me.
"Hi nice to meet you guys." I say smiling and shaking there hands.
"So your the one who stole my buddies heart from day one." Jack teases.
"To be fair I think it was mutual." I laugh leaning my head on B.
"Oh I know honey he wont shut up about you." Sarah says making me blush.
"Hi Brantley, Jack, Sarah, and you must be the new fling?" a chick says
"Sorry the girlfriend actually." Sarah scolds her but defending me.
"Suzy." I fake a smile at her.
"Hey Red can we get our regulars and whatever she wants." Jack hollars to a dude behind the counter.
"Coming up Jack let me know what his girl wants." Red says.
"Well?" Sarah asks me
"Double bacon with fries and a dr. pepper." I say and she tells red.
"Sure you can eat that Suzy?" Jack asks making me laugh and look at B.
"Jack brother she eats kolby under the table and still looks like that." B snorts gestering to me.
"Damn I knew I'd like you." Sarah laughs.
"Hey to be fair I havent met kolby but ok." I laugh putting my hands up in surender,
"Trust me Doll." He smirks and kisses my head.
"Does luke not understand leave me alone?" I ask B, "Give me a moment gotta call the stupid cousin."
"Alright Doll." He says and gives me a kiss before I step out of the diner.
I'm out there for a good ten minutes before I come back in. Red brings over the food right as I slide back into the booth next to B. We sit and chat for the next two hours while eating. I sneak my card to red before anyone can notice and he smirks at me.
"Here ya are darling." Red says handing my card back to me.
"Thanks red." I smirk looking at them.
"Doll you little shit!" B exclaims making me laugh.
"Y'all were to busy talkin so I snuck my card to red. Not my fault Y'all pay no mind." I laugh then take a drink.
"Shes my favorite one Brantley dont loose her!" red shouts to us from he kitchen.
"Honey you didnt have to." Jack says.
"Oh I know but it pisses him off when I do that. So every once in a while I sneak my card to the waiter or staff and pay before he can." I say making him grumble at me.
"She has a knack for being a little minx like that." B scowls at me.
"You love me." I smile and he kisses my head chuckling.
"Yeah I do." He smiles.
"Shit we gotta go get your godson from mas. We'll see ya guys later." Jack says.
"Nice meeting you guys." I wave
"You to suzy." They say and head out.
"Read to go doll?" He asks me and i nod finishing my soda and slide out of the booth.
"See ya guys." Red calls.
"Bye red." B and i call as we slip out the door.
Brantley helps me into the truck before getting in himself and we head off to his place for the night. When we pull up I gasp softly at his place, as he puts in the gate code I take in the beautiful view of the house. He looks at me and smiles before headed to the garage. He helps me out and grabs our bags out the backseat. I follow him silently through the house as we make our way to his room to drop off our bags.
