Unity is defined as when people join together for a common goal
A quest that comes out and arises from the soul
It pours out our hearts, and that's what love is
It bubbles in our veins till it starts to fizz
Fiz Fiz pop pop
Can be heard from tips of mountain tops
And still, the snow goes drip drip drop
Flooding the homes of many
Those comfortably on the tippy top
will never see the drip drip drop
Will never have to worry when the floods will stop
Will never have to worry about the sizzle sizzle burn
That the children in the middle of the earth must learn
When it comes to love and unity
they both involve the community
Love and passion is needed
To make sure our siblings won't be defeated
For other's lives are being cheated
We need to act as different branches of a tree
Together as one, not two or three
For we all came from a single-seed
Each branch requiring similar needs
Each branch supporting every root and ferm
Is how we avoid burning into an urn
As young leaves yearn
For their turn
Because hope of the youth is a marker that's bone dry
It starts off strong, but then it just dies
We sit here waiting for the ink to return
Love and unity are needed to help children learn
And preserve
This precious marker until it's their turn
To do the things that make life worthwhile
Whether is getting their dream job or walking down the aisle
Hope is what love and unity create
As the young leaves desperately wait
For:
A better time
A better place
To make a mark
To remember their face
