Chaewon

I decided to ride separately from Zuha and Eunchae, because tonight I just want to be alone after the party.

Sometimes you just need a day off from people, and when's a better time then when you don't have work that day?

I don't plan on drinking much, just enough to let loose a little. I'm not the biggest fan of drinking, but I will every once in a while.

Karina lives on the other side of town from me. 15 minutes without traffic. The differences between my side and her side are significant.

It's easy to differentiate the white picket fence, freshly trimmed yards, from my chain linked fence, and overgrown yard that no one's gotten around to cutting.

I park on the side of the street, the block being lined with cars.

I send eunchae a text asking where they are, and unfortunately receive a text that they aren't yet here.

I don't want to wait around for them to arrive, and decide to go inside. They aren't far, so I will socialize until they get here.

I walk up the steps to Karina's huge front door, and walk in.

"Ahhh my chaechae!" Karina screams, running up to me spilling some of her drink in the process. Seems like she's pregamed.

I don't let her welcome trick me. We aren't very close, especially not for this type of welcoming, but unsober Karina is far different than sober Karina.

"Hey Rina." I say back politely, returning the hug she's pulled me into.

"Where are Kazuha and Eunchae?" Karina asks, peeking behind me.

"Right here!" I hear zuha yell, and I let out a little breath of relief. She gives them the same welcoming she gave to me.

"Drinks are in the kitchen and backyard! Help yourselves!" She yells before running off to Winter who just walked in.

"Are they back together?" Eunchae asks, taking her place beside me.

"Who the hell knows. They break up one week and are back together the next." I point out. It's been this way since junior year.

"I need a drink." Kazuha says seriously. When is she ever serious? I look up at the girl who isn't looking at me, but the other side of me.

I follow her eyes to see Sakura sitting on a bar with Ryujin beside her, touching her thigh, and sharing a drink with her.

"Same." I say, and grab my friends arms, dragging them to the kitchen.

We find the alcohol closest to us. I only get half a cup, and take a little sip.

Eunchae gets a half cup as well, and takes a drink.

Kazuha on the other hand, gets a cup full of whatever is the cheapest beer Karina could find, and chugs half of it.

"Woah there zuha. Slow down we still have the whole night." Eunchae says, pulling Kazuhas cup away from her face.

"You're right. Let's go play beer pong." Zuha says, pointing to the beer pong table, where the group of boys just finished their first game.

"I don't think that's what Eunchae meant." I say. Kazuha snaps her head towards me, furrowing her brows.

"You wanted to come to a party tonight didn't you? Let's at least have fun while we are here." Kazuha grabs my arm dragging me to the table, while Eunchae follows quickly behind.

"We have next game." Zuha says. A couple of guys whistle and scream.

"We'll play." Yeji walks up to the table, dragging Jennifer behind her. I can't help but admire the way her dress hugs her hips just the right way.
