A/N

I hope you do not find this chapter too boring. I had to include some essential "facts and information" in this section to provide context for a later part of the story. I apologize for any uninteresting content. However, I am excited to see your reaction to a certain part of the chapter. Things are changing. Are we slowly getting closer to finding out what happened to Saxon?👀

Please note that the next chapter will include more time jumps.

'Hold on, even if it means losing your sanity. There is nothing more beautiful than seeing the strength of someone who can endure the depths of hell, and still remain an angel.'

Harry's pulse quickened as he hung up the phone. The conversation with Peter had been brief but reassuring, confirming that the necessary legal safeguards were planted firmly in place and now he had the 'go ahead' to proceed. Harry understood the importance of proceeding with caution and not rushing things. Given their public profiles, he and now Louis, were susceptible to intense scrutiny and speculation from the relentless world of social media. Therefore, he had emphasised the necessity of non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) to safeguard their privacy and reputation as they navigated this new delicate and sensitive situation he had initiated.

With a surge of determination, Harry leaned back in his chair, his thoughts chaotic. On one hand, he was eager to proceed, hopeful that this new direction could finally bring them some answers. But on the other hand, he couldn't shake the nagging fear that Louis might not be on board with the ideas at all.

The thought gnawed at him, a seed of doubt taking root in his mind as he weighed the potential risks and rewards of their next move. He knew that Louis had been struggling lately, and the last thing he wanted was to add to his burden. But at the same time, he couldn't ignore the burning desire to find their son, to bring him home where he belonged.

Lost in his thoughts, Harry rubbed a hand across his face, knowing that whatever he decided, it would require careful consideration and a willingness to face whatever challenges lay ahead. But for now, all he could do was take a deep breath and steel himself for the conversation that lay ahead.

For weeks, Harry had been tirelessly chasing leads, his inbox flooded with messages from well-meaning fans who claimed to have information about Saxon's whereabouts. Each message sparked a glimmer of hope, only to be extinguished by disappointment when the leads turned out to be dead ends.

Despite the overwhelming urge to share these potential breakthroughs with Louis, Harry kept them to himself, wary of getting their hopes up for nothing. He sifted through message after message, each one a mix of excitement and trepidation, as he followed up on every lead in the hopes of finding a clue that would lead them closer to their son.

But as the days went on, Harry's patience wore thin. It soon became clear that most of the messages were simply from fans seeking his attention, their well-intentioned tips amounting to nothing more than false hope.

With a heavy heart, Harry closed his inbox, the weight of their situation pressing down on him like a leaden cloak. He couldn't bear to tell Louis about the fruitless search, knowing it would only add to their collective despair. Instead, he resolved to soldier on, determined to find Saxon no matter how long it took.
