JUNGKOOK POV

We held the wedding rehearsal dinner in my formal dining room.

I invited only my closest
friends and relatives.

My parents of course and
Hobi and Tae.

Two of my brothers came
and there were a few people from the office.

It was a small affair for
which I spared no expense.

This was my first time introducing Jimin to anyone.

No one said a single word
about the dinner being held
after dusk.

I wanted the guests along
with Jimin, to feel comfortable slipping out onto the patio
area to have drinks and relax
so the dinner had to be somewhat late.

When Jimin showed up downstairs just before the
first guest came, I couldn't
help but smile.

He wore his lime green velvet coat my favorite with a red
shirt and white bowtie along
with red sequined trousers
that threw spectral rainbows
all over the walls.

I was plain and ordinary next
to him in my white shirt and black pants.

But that was the way I
loved it.

He was definitely the shining
star of the evening just as
I'd planned.

Hobi and Tae were the
first to arrive.

Tae's face lit up with
excitement at seeing Jimin.

"How wonderful you
look." Tae said.

"I love those pants."

Jimin shook his hand,
beaming.

"I'm so happy to meet you."

Hobi just stared.

Then he turned to me with
one eyebrow raised, his
mouth a firm line.

"What?" I grinned.

Under his breath, he said.

"Did he come with a warning label?"

I laughed, smacking him on
the shoulder.

"Perfect Match left some
things out of his bio."

"We've discussed this." Hobi continued.

"But you never actually said
how attractive he is."

"I told you he's gorgeous."

"Yes but that could've been
your hormones talking."

"You were in a rut at the
time."

"You couldn't be objective."

"I mean later on."

"You never clarified your position." I chuckled.

"Didn't think I needed to."

Hobi then turned to Jimin
and held out his hand.

Jimin gently took it.

"Pleased to meet you." Hobi
said.

"I've heard so much about
you." Jimin smiled.

"Me too."

"About you."

"Kookie tells me everything."

"Well, everything might be a
bit much so I'll say I hope it doesn't keep you from
making up your own mind."
