The scenery unfolds with a serene simplicity, its beauty subtle yet profound. Trees sway gently in the breeze, their leaves whispering secrets to the wind. The sky stretches overhead in a seamless expanse of soft blue, devoid of any clouds or distractions. A warm sun bathes the landscape in a golden glow, casting long shadows that dance lazily across the ground. Birds chirp merrily in the distance, their songs blending harmoniously with the rustle of leaves.
Wildflowers bloom in abundance, their vibrant colors a stark contrast to the muted backdrop. The air is crisp and clean, carrying with it the faint scent of earth and greenery. Despite the lack of excitement, there is a deep sense of contentment that permeates the scene, like a quiet understanding that everything is as it should be. In this moment, surrounded by nature's beauty, there is no need for excitement or novelty – only a profound sense of peace and happiness.
Zachariah strolled at the park peacefully, admiring the scenery that was in front of him, it looked lonely yet contented and peaceful. The air was chilly, it hugged Zachariah's warm body.
The surroundings were quiet and serene. It was still early in the morning and the sun was not full yet. There were no other people except for him, wandering around. He looked lonely from a distance, but he knew he was in peace.
It's been four years since that night. That night that he had completely lost himself, completely lost in love. The amount of grieving he had felt since that night. He never thought he would overcome all of the torments in life.
Zachariah watched as the sun rose higher, casting its warm rays upon the earth, he felt a stirring with himㅡa flicker of resilience amidst the pain. With each breath, he allowed himself to release the grip of sorrow, letting it drift away with the morning mist.
After awhile, the sun was now fully in the sky, and time by time the amount of people are now here wandering while some others are busy talking to the other person with them. It's a cue for Zachariah to leave now.
He walked towards his house and immediately freshened himself up to work. He went to the kitchen and cooked for himself for breakfast. Afterwards, he immediately ate his breakfast. It is his daily routine everyday, it's an ongoing cycle.
After all the necessary things to do in the morning he immediately got his car keys and went to his car to go to work.
As usual, he drowned himself in the pool of paper stacks on his table. He isolated himself in his office and deeply focused his works. Wanting to spend the movement of time completely lost in his works.
Without realization, when he turned his chair to the glass wall, he saw that the sun was already dipping below the horizon, casting hues of orange and pink across the sky, he laid his back on his chair and watched the scene in front of him.
Each second of the clock ticks the rhythm of his heart, battered and bruised from the storm of a failed love. The memories, once sweet for him, now felt like shards of glass piercing through his soul.
But, it's fine as long as he was healing.
Zachariah turned off his computer and his office lights and went outside. It was now already in the evening. His Secretary bid goodbye to him and he did too. He felt empty but in peace.
He went inside to the elevator and pressed the ground floor. When he arrived at the ground floor, he immediately went to his car. He thought for a bit if he should go home or wander to kill some time, and he thought that it's much better to wander to consume his time and to breathe a fresh air.
He immediately started his car and drove. While driving, he turned on the radio and songs immediately filled the whole car. The quietness is now long gone, replacing the harmonies of songs.
He hummed along the tune and sang along softly with the melodies and lyrics. He saw that the streetlight was red, so he stopped his car for a while and waited for it to green.
While wandering all around the big buildings, he spotted a billboard bulletin... His mind stopped and he felt a lump on his throat. The tune that he was humming earlier was now gone, he couldn't form a word. The bulletin showed the woman that he loved the most, his first love and greatest love.
Seraphina Watsons. It was written in the bulletin board all of her success in life. Many titles are given by Seraphina written in the billboard bulletin, with her image that never fails amazes Zachariah every time despite all of the memories that they have shared.
"Breaking Glass Ceilings; first woman to revolutionize!"
"Trailblazer Extraordinaire; paving the way for future generations of female entrepreneurs!"
"Shattering Stereotypes; inspiring women to defy expectations!"
"Mogul in Motion; recognized for her outstanding achievements in industry!"
"Visionary Leader; fearless and transformative impact in industry!"
"Innovator Spotlight; excellence in industry!"
"Champion of Entrepreneurship; honored on billboard for her remarkable contributions to entrepreneurship, serving as a beacon of inspiration for future generations!"Achieved by the only Seraphina Watsons!
Zachariah felt his heart swells in pride seeing the achievements that Seraphina have finally achieved in her life. The pain in his heart was now gone, replacing a peace and comfort in his heart.
Zachariah kept looking at the billboard with a content inside his eyes. He is surely proud, more beyond of that. He is beyond happy for Seraphina, for he is always for her. Every day and night he always pray for her happiness and to achieve her goals and now she is now brighting like a star.
A loud honk of a car behind of him interrupted him from his thoughts, he looked at the streetlight and saw that it has already turned into green. With a last glance of the bulletin, he started his car to drive to the opposite side.
After driving, he finally arrived at the beach. There were no people on the beach and Zachariah smiled at that thought. It was quiet despite the wild waves that were crashing to the shore. With a clash of waves, Zachariah started to walk towards it.
He stood at the shore and admired the beauty of the sea in the night. It was beautiful yet terrifying at the same time, due to the unknown things that are hidden deep inside. It was beautiful outside, yet mysterious on the inside.
Throughout his journey in life, he learned so many things in life. He learned that we must need to get hurt in order to get a lesson. Because, in trials and pain, it helps us to become stronger and braver.
As the waves continued to thrash, with each breath, he surrendered to the healing process, allowing time to mend that it was broken. And as the stars began to dot darkening the sky, he felt a glimmer of peace, knowing that with each passing day, he was one closer finding to himself once again.
In his heartache, he found solace in the knowledge that he had loved truly, even if it was not a happy ending. For in the end, he realized that love was not always being loved in return, but about the courage to love despite the odds, to cherish someone even when they could do not the same in return.
And with a heavy heart and a silent prayer for her happiness, he resigned himself to loving her from afar, knowing that sometimes, that was all he could ever do. He loved her in a different way now.
For in the dept of realization, he learned that love was not about winning or losing, but about the courage to try, to risk everything for the chance at someone truly extraordinary.
He realized that healing was not about forgetting, but about accepting and letting go.
"I will be okay." Zachariah spoke to himself and smiled, thankful about those memories without regretting anything.
He took a step forward, ready to embark on the journey of self-discovery and renewal.
It's okay even if they are not together in the end, at least they got their true ending.
