We went shopping for Taimur Bhai's engagement tomorrow. I'm too tired to think anything, I just want to sleep but my room don't have water in my room. So I have to go down for that because there is no servents around this time.

I hear my name so I stop at Dad room where I hear mum's frustrated voice. "Zaan I have told you that don't talk about my daughters marriage, at least for a year. A few days ago it was Maah and now Candy" I frown

Our marriage?

"Aamina first calm down, it's not like we will hold a wedding that soon. It's just an engagement, they want our Dua to get engaged to his son Asfand and marriage will happen after a year. I won't allow it if they wants to get married quickly" Dad said.

"But...." Mom stopped because she saw me. She rubs her brows," come inside Dua" I bit my lower lips and enter their room.

"Why are you out of your room at this time?" Dad ask looking at me. I shake the water bottle in my hands.

He sighed," You listen to all our conversation?" I nodded looking down. "You know Asfand right?" I nodded again without saying anything.

"Why do you think about him?" Dad ask and mum glare at him. I look at them then genuinely think about his question.

He is good looking, handsome, intelligent and a good Businessman as I had seen his financial magazine, but

He is rude.

"Dad.....I don't know what to say. To tell you the truth I applied in his company few days ago and got selected. And now you are telling this, I don't know him that much but I only seen him twice. Once at our house and last time at our college dinner then I got to know he was my senior".

"As for what I thought about him, I only seen his few interviews on magzine which says he a most awaited batchelor to be married. He is good in his business dealings and his social life is also clean, but..." I rabble about and look at Mum and Dad

"But?" Mum ask and I pouted.

"He is kinda Rude. And I don't like that" Dad sigh. I hug mum which she patted my back, "he is rude Dua, because when he was young something happen between his parents and he became like this, Reserve and Cool"

"To be precise, his mother was a problem" I frown

"How could a mother be a problem for her kids?. Dad" I ask the question running in my mind.

"(Sigh) I don't know much, his mother was only into money and she doesn't care about him or his sister. She left with some other businessman after Aadil's Company went bankrupt few years back because of his ex-wife and her lover" my eyes widened imagining what had gone through him at that time.

"And Aadil like you to be his daughter-in-law after he saw you for the first time he seen you at Companies party. So think about it and tell me, if you like you guys can get engaged and if your vibes match then you can marry him after a year or 2 years after".

I bit on my lips thinking then sigh.

"If you guys like him so be it. It's only an engagement not a wedding, if I didn't find him to my taste we will break off" I said shrugging my shoulders.
