It all started in a Korean chicken shop

"Hey, I'm Daesung! Nice to meet you"

"You as well, I'm Nari" she said trying to contain her smile. He was so cute she couldn't resist his charm. Tim looked over nervously at Nari and his friend. He felt a sense of jealousy. Nari was totally into Daesung and Daesung was totally into Nari.

"Well looks like we gotta get back home, it's getting late" Tim said grabbing Nari's hand and dragging her away.

"Oh; see yall later i guess" Daesung said looking like a sad puppy. His eyes were big and he was frowning.

"What was that?" Nari asked "he just wanted to meet us"

"Nothing, I am just tired and wanna go home" Tim grumbled.

"Oh, ok" Nari replied.

The walk home was quiet. Tim was still mad and Nari didn't know why. Yet, he was still holding her hand. They arrived to her apartment, and he dropped her off at the door. Tim gave her a kiss on the cheek and left.

Nari walked through the door confused. He was angry with her but kissed her cheek? Gosh men are confusing and thought to himself.

Nari sat on the couch and opened up Instagram. The very first thing she saw on her feed was a story from Hoseok.

She opened it.

There she was. A blonde girl. Short hair. Good sense of fashion. She was pretty. She was resting her head on Hoseoks shoulder. Him looking at her. They were at The Met. The next story was of them holding hands and a heart captioning the photo.

Nari felt sad. She gave up Hoseok for a maybe someone. Someone who she isn't so sure wants here anymore. She missed him.

She missed Hoseok.

Nari decided to go to bed, reliving all the memories and shared with him. She remembered all the times he would bring her flowers because he felt like it, or buy her her favorite meals, or just hold her in his arms while they were watching movies. She missed his warm scent, his soft skin, the times where he would order a hamburger and sprite. He was so sweet to her and she messed everything up. It was her fault. She broke his heart.

She viewed hoseoks story one more time and clicked on the tag. She viewed the new girls account, Rose. She was perfect, everything Nari wasn't. Maybe she'll love him better than she ever could. He deserves that. 

Nari went to bed.

She woke up groggy and sad. Hoseok was dating someone new. That was still fresh on her mind. And picked up her phone to see that she had a few messages.

The first:
Nari, I'm so sorry for last night. I'm not mad at you, I was just exhausted from the day. I shouldn't have taken out on you. Let me make it up to u. Boba sometime this week?  -Tim

All good time- she texted back- I'd be down for boba sometime after classes.

Second message:
Daesunshineboy has requested to follow u instagram.

She clicked on the notification and saw Daesung, the guy she met last night. After some stalked she saw he was a swimmer, a great one actually. Other pics were of his graduation, or trips to Hawaii and New York. Nari accepted his request and followed him back.

And clicked out of his profile and saw the dm notifications. 1 new Dm

Huh? She thought to herself? I never dm anyone?

She swiped and saw none other than Hoseok dming her.

Her heart skipped a beat.

Nari, is there a reason you're following my new girlfriend? Last time I thought, you were wanting to leave me for someone who doesn't want u?

OH SHIT- she thought to herself.

Nari looked at her following just to see she had accidentally followed his new gf last night. She must have done it accidentally as she was dozing off.

Crap.

She didn't even know how to dm Hoseok back.  She had no explanation.
