"yay , good job baby " I smiled clapping at my 2 year old son who had just finished making his father his Father's Day card
today is Father's Day and Axl is in a important meeting with guns.
He left pretty early this morning so me and our son didn't get the chance to see him and give him his cards and gifts which is a shame.
so now i had just finished wrapping up his presents which sat in the blue and white striped gift bad on the floor next to our bed
my son clapping giggling away to himself he had just finished his card he'd made for Axl.
it was so cute
all days he's being painting and drawing lots of pictures for him. honestly there is a pile of drawings at the end of the bed just waiting until he gets home
it's axl's second Father's Day and I can remember his first like it was yesterday. he cried like a baby
this time made a cake for him and in icing it says 'happy Father's Day daddy'
it looked very good to be honest. i was actually so proud of myself for making it
we've put up banners down stairs with 'happy Father's Day 'on them and some balloons. Well only a few now since our cats whiskey and Dijon have popped half of them
there was little lucky snacks of the kitchen counter downstairs

"like it mama " William proudly shoved the big piece of paper in my face filled with his little messy writing he attempted and a little drawing be attempted that was apparently Axl and him with our cats and our French bulldog ,blu
"I love it ,you did such a good job "i cupped his face and kissed his cheeks making him giggle and scrunch his button nose he inherited off his father
"how about we go downstairs and make sure everything is is up to scratch before daddy what home ?" I suggested stroked his wavy light ginger hair from his forehead
god he looked like Axl when he was a kid
the resemblance was crazy
same eyes , facial structure , same nose , hair , same cute smile and definitely the same funny , cheeky and loving personality
the only thing he had off me was my plumped love heart shaped lips and the waves in his hair.
"YAY" William squealed throwing his hands up and jumping off mine and Axls now messy bed since we've been sat on it for a good hour now while William was drawing making his master piece of a card and while I wrapped up his presents and took some pictures of William drawling with his coloured crayons and colouring pens
I've already wrote my card out , I done one off the cats and our dog too and also one from our child who sadly passed 3 years before we had William
we were expecting a baby but sadly and unfortunately we had a miscarriage and it broke us both but now we've got a beautiful, happy , cheeky and funny 2 year old that we both adore dearly
and who we would go to the ends of the earth for no matter what and without a question
i got off the bed picking up William and the gift bag and his card with his drawings and we made our way down stairs into the living room and kitchen since it was all open
our dog , blue trailed behind us
